Stayed here with my Brother and son weekend of 18th & 19th September. Hotel is in a good location right on main road and just a short walk to the seafront, city centre and marina. Rooms were small but clean and tidy, and were cleaned daily. The food was basic but perfectly fine and plentiful especially breakfast which was buffet style.... More

We stayed here in June 2014 on a visit to the Great War cemeteries and battle fields. The hotel was just a short walk to the town centre and the sea front, with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Our room was quite large with plenty of storage and a balcony overlooking a quiet street. The bed was comfortable,... More

Just returned from a National holiday here and our hotel room was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. It was a single room with two narrow beds and no natural light, as it overlooks a stairwell. We had asked for a room with easy access but an airless broom cupboard, opposite the lift, was not what I... More

Me and my son have just returned from a 5 day Harry Shaw holiday to Ostend again. The hotel is in a prime location for shops, bars, the beach front etc. When we arrived the check in system was very quick and was up in our room within 5 mins. Our room was number 203 which is a great room... More

My mum and dad have just returned from a four day stay at the New Astoria. My mum's biggest question...what is new about it?? They have stayed here before as it is a hotel used by National Holidays trips, however their most recent stay was their worst ever. They had booked a double room and were given two very narrow... Lovely place Ostend, which made up for the very small bedroom at the New Astoria, outlook from bedroom,(yuk) overlooking brick wall and fire escape, food acceptable, waiters very helpful. Best place was a bus trip to Sluis, in Holland, want to go there again. Mark the Travel Style coach driver, what a gem.
