Peter and the staff were brilliant, very helpfull. The food was really good and plenty of it, our only disapointment was lack of tea & coffee making facilities in rooms, we are going back again though for a longer stay in a couple of weeks time more

Found everything to be done on the cheap,The food was poor, vegatables overcooked and soggy, the seconds offered did not make up for the quality. If as they state, they want to make it the Best Two Star Hotel in Ostende then things MUST change, for the better!!! The Hotel was warm, the beds and linen very clean, although the bathroom... more

Just returned from a five day coach holiday with Travelstyle. We have been to Ostende several times but this was our first time at the Admiral. Having stayed at so called 3 star hotels in Ostende before, we were very pleasantly suprised by everything at the hotel. (The admiral is rated as a 2 star). It is definitely on a... more

The food horrible like left overs. Beer 5 euros a pint outside 3 euros unfriendly staff. Never again you can not get any worse than... more

Went to this hotel with Travelstyle on 30th June 2008 for five days. The hotel is situated in a very narrow street minutes from the beach and shops. The rooms are small with no air conditioning and the bathroom is tiny with very hard and thin towels. The bathroom mat is hard on the feet.. No shaver points, kettles or... more

The hotel was in a good location with the beach within walking distance...and the rooms, although very basic, were clean and tidy with someone coming into clean everyday. The food was ok...only ok because I don't eat that sort of food so I didn't have much choice at all! more

We have just returned from a 'Turkey and Tinsel' three night break at the Admiral - a very enjoyable cheap and cheerful time. TherHotel is 2* and this is apparent by the sparsely furnished rooms and thin towels. Having said that the rooms are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds - the bedding snow white and pristine. Each morning the... more
