For a few euros more than a hostel you can have a private room with a good bed. One side of the hotel has been upgraded and is quite nice, the second part is the older hotel, which is not as nice but still more than ok for the price you pay. The bar downstairs is open 24/7. If you... More

We chose this hotel for it`s location and couldn`t have been happier. The staff were very friendly and we didn`t have any problems at all. There were four of us travelling together and they did as requested and gave us two rooms together. We had the two rooms on the top floor and couldn`t have been happier as it was... More

It's a 2 stars hotel and I can't complain about anything. It's an old hotel so e.g. toilette wasn't very clean in nooks and crannies. Room was small, but enough for 1-2 nights. Breakfast was good as for 2 stars standard.

This hotel was basic but clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and even tried to teach us some basic Flemish. Breakfast was traditional continental but after a heavy nice of rich food and drink it is really all you need. The location was perfect and within walking distance of the beach and centre. The only thing I would change... More

Disappointed. We were charged more money for a saturday night when we were staying for five nights. The size of the room was far to small. we had to report that the heating was on in the room and every day someone was sent to fix this, but it never went off and this made the room far too hot.... Have stayed at this hotel three times now, it's basic but clean, 24 hour bar, very well located for beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty of hot water, no tea facilities in rooms, some rooms are better than others. Hotel has two sides and the rooms are better in the newer part of the hotel. Breakfast is a very basic... More

This was the second part of our honeymoon and we were originally down as booked for the Royal Astor which we have stayed at before and liked. We went through 5 Star travel a coach company specialising in mini breaks abroad, but were not told of the change of hotel until the last minute - which I thought was a... More
