A night in Brugge was a splurge and the hotel was definitely worth it. Service was immediate, competent, and attentive. Rooms were a very good size and the bathroom was fabulous. The hotel bar is very welcoming and comfortable place to relax and mingle after dinner out. Location was walking distance to the market square. more

We stayed just one night here (although we tried to extend our stay, but they were fully booked), and loved it. The hotel is in an historic building, sympathetically upgraded and extended. Our room, a deluxe, number 310, was reasonably sized, with a very comfortable bed, bathroom with underfloor heating and beautifully furnished. There is internet, but it is not... more

We had high hopes for this hotel: part of the well-regarded Kempinski chain, the only five-star hotel in Brugge and a promising-sounding reservations operator who offered us a rate of €239 for a Deluxe room (we had expected to book a Superior room for €199, but because none was available in the castle wing, we agreed to the upgrade). The... more

Booked for 2 nights over the weekend, we booked the cheapest room available, which was still about 550 Euros for 2 nights ! This is not a cheap place, especially now due to the exchange rate between GBP and EUR. We travelled to Bruges by car, and I can tell you that getting to the hotel is a nightmare if... more

Champagne breakfasts, stunning hotel, rooms were beautiful. Excellent service and recommendations by staff and hotel in the heart of Bruges. Would love to return, felt thoroughly spoiled! (Restaurant is excellent also) more

Had a wonderful Easter break in Bruges, where we stayed in the fairly new Kempinski Duke's Palace. We were quite curious about this hotel, as we have stayed in several Kempinski hotels around the world, and were never disappointed. This hotel is another jewel in their crown, everything (location, food, service, rooms,...) is as it should be. The only minus... more

I booked into this hotel as a lastminute trip with my young son as my husband was working in Brussels. We had a fantastic time - all of the staff were very kind and attentive for the duration of our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Bruges, the bar area and gardens of the hotel are... more

This is a good hotel, but not amazing. The pool is incredibly small and the spa treatments are expensive for what they are (had a facial, save your money!). But the bar, the restaurant and the rooms are pretty nice and the location is central. The staff are attentive and Bruges is lovely for a couple of days. I'd stay... more

Went with my boyfriend, it was a Valentines gift and was really looking forward to seeing Bruges but even more excited about the hotel as had heard that Kempinski hotels have a great reputation. We had booked a deluxe room in the old part of the hotel, when we got into our room you could barely walk round the bed,... more

We got a good deal on this hotel as they were still in their 'soft opening'. The service was flawless. The rooms were a good size and well decorated. The spa in the basement was our favourite. Quiet enough for our forgotten swimming costumes to not cause us a problem in the pool... more
