Very clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was superior with tub and shower, although the shower had problems maintaining the temperature. I especially loved the complimentary toiletries from my favorite company. The breakfast had a very large selection of items including hot and cold offerings. Try the raspberry juice, delicious. One complaint would be the room card scanner in the... More

We stayed at Hotel Bruge for one night. The water in our room wasnt hot and the bathroom sink was clogged. We advised the front desk and we were told too many people were showering to go out for the evening. The next morning we had the same problem and it was 7:00 am. We complained to the front desk,... What can I say against this hotel? Nothing. Fantastic location, easy access to anything you may want to access, it's own garage (chargeable but plenty of room), lovely clean rooms with daily turn down service, bathroom, excellent standard. Breakfast - as commented in other reviews. Any good things you've heard or read are true - best breakfast I've had anywhere.... More

Dear Divecario, What can I say with such a review? I can’t thank you enough for pointing out all the positive things you’ve experienced during your stay. We are pleased that you find that what other people write about for example the breakfast is more than justified… Breakfast is now extended for an extra half hour during summer time, would... More

This was our last hotel of our current trip in Europe...many hotels in 7 weeks. And we saved the best till last! We stayed in a garden room. The garden is a superb asset to those staying in the rooms opening onto it. The room was extremely comfortable. Wonderful bathroom and we really appreciated the L'Occitane in the bathroom! We... Cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are big and comfortable and the bathroom was the largest I have ever seen in a hotel! The breakfast was superb with a large variety of cooked or cold dishes, plus chocolate and champagne, what a way to start the day. The hotel receptionists are very welcoming as are the bar staff. It... More

Trully the best thing in Bruges. The staff was wonderful and so was everything else. I was there with my two kids and my wife and we all loved the hotel. It's an old Duke's castle but with all the modern amenities. We were in a family room which meant we had a duplex one room above the other. The... More

The location of the hotel is lovely, in a quiet spot but a few minutes walk from the Markt. The room was fine, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom a bit disappointing with a broken seal on the shower door and a big crack in the sink, also, the shower temperature was a little erratic! Nothing major, but not what... More

Dear LizzieS606, Thank you for your review and for recommending the hotel. Following your remarks, we have done a big check-up regarding the water temperature in the showers, and we have detected an error, which has been solved. We are currently waiting for the new sink, which we have ordered. We train our staff to be as sufficient as friendly... More

great location right in the centre of the commercial area of the town (not the old square but a very short walk) we selected it due to the facilities. Super comfy beds, large bathroom with a tub, interesting building with charming twists and turns (there was a chappel on our floor) If you want all the facilities of a large... More

Dear IenaDubai, I very much appreciate you taking your time to write a few words on the hotel. The hotel is indeed situated right in the centre of Bruges, it’s not even a 5 minute walk to the main market square. We are indeed a rather large hotel (110 rooms) but tucked away in the city center. Thank you for... More

Lovely, elegant, somehow cookie-cutterish, uncomfortable pillows, terrific breakfast, with super fun stairwells. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place, and the location was perfect. It's a large and imposing place.

Dear MangoEric, What lovely words you chose to describe your stay with us. Hotel Dukes’ Palace is indeed an imposing place and we really love that you’ve enjoyed it.
