Great experience. Great hotel. Would recommend anyone to go here over any of the cheaper options in the area. Pay a little more and get a LOT more for your money. Great big comfy beds. Relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful gardens

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful room - ours was in the garden. Friendly helpful staff. Great bar. A feast for breakfast. Perfect location. We loved it. Just a shame that the restaurant was closed on Sunday. But there are so many near by. This really was an excellent place to stay

I stayed here in May and was overjoyed with our stay. We returned over the weekend for a much needed weekend of relaxing. We had booked through Booking.com so was on a slightly discounted rate, but for one room for two people it was still 638 euros. Room was nicely decorated, over looking the garden in the castle part of... More

We stayed in this hotel for a 3 day trip to Bruges and were very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door, the room was large and very comfortable. The highlight of the hotel was the amazing breakfast including huge slabs of Belgian chocolate and cava as well as an excellent hot... More

Such a lovely hotel in a central location - service and facilities were great. The hotel is a short e walk from the main shopping streets and museums If you have a chance visit the bar for some pre-dinner drinks

I was surprised for the suituation of the five star hotel!!.. Decoration and furniture is too old even the lobby and reception is very ordinary.. and the worst is the hotel location in dark and narrow street.. This hotel does not deserve more than 3 star and 110 euro per night.

I cant fault this hotel one bit. I emailed ahead to say it was my husbands special birthday... and when we arrived the manager had upgraded up to a superior garden room. The welcome and the staff in the hotel was very warming and they were so helpful. We included breakfast in our stay and it was excellent. What a... More

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic location of the square. Staff were friendly and rooms very cosy yet spacious. Very accomodating and a lovely turn down service. Free wifi is a bonus! Didn't eat in the hotel as felt it was pricey however you're spoilt for choice with tea rooms, restaurants and shops surrounding you. A note to management is... More

Booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary, wow what a fantastic up market luxury hotel. Surroundings fantastic, opulent and comfortable. All the staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Bathrooms were light airy and extremely clean. Fabulous location within 5 mins of the main town square, however the hotel is very quiet. Everything from furnishings to finishes... More

We stayed here in August 14 and whilst it is a wonderful old place, with lots of historical charm, there general feel is of being pretentious. We had booked a suite and where not disappointed with the room in general but it felt dark, cold and damp, which I suppose you would expect from a C16th palace? Given that the... More
