Clean room and friendly staff. The room was a little warm so we had to sleep with the window open, couldn't get the aircon to work but we didn't ask reception as it wasn't a major issue but if it had of been mid summer it might have been. Good breakfast with a selection of fruit, pastries, bacon, eggs, ham,... More

we have stayed at this hotel twice and each time thoroughly enjoyed our stay , it isn't posh or luxurious but the hotel isn't in that price bracket so you shouldn't expect it! it's warm, cosy, very clean , friendly helpful staff , we found breakfast lovely and you could eat as much or little as you wanted depending on if you... With all the Excellent and Very good ratings, perhaps I my expectations were unfairly high. We were also all very excited about the Christmas market in beautiful Bruges as well. But while I couldn't describe the accommodation as terrible or poor, 'average' seems a bit generous. Here's why. On the plus side, it's an excellent location for the price, which... More

Stayed 3 nights and were extremely satisfied. Would return in a heartbeat. Fantastic location - The central part of Bruges that draws visitors is pretty compact and walkable so no place of interest was far. If you're in need of buses there is a cluster of major bus stops seconds walk away. We had a car and used the huge... More

Easy to talk from the train station. Not perfectly positioned for the old town, we need a fair bit of working, but balancing price and location worked well for us. Breakfast was fairly simple but adequate, rooms did the job. We didn't eat here in the evening so don't know about that. The fairground on the square was very loud... More

My Mothers 80th birthday present. So I wanted somewhere nice but affordable. The rooms were excellent as was the breakfast. The hotel is on the corner of market square so no big travel issues. There is a great shop opposite if you don't want an excessive bar bill. No Wifi except in the Lobby? Lost the fifth star

Good location on the edge of the old town, so great for walking around. Good public transport connections. Room was simple, clean and air conditioned. Reception is only manned for part of the day. Breakfast was pleasant. Wifi works in the breakfast room and reception but did not reach my room. Restaurant downstairs was pretty good. An enjoyable location. Tourist... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a group of couples on a birthday weekend away. We had 3 adjacent rooms on the 3rd floor. Arriving by train, we found the place by crossing the square in front of the station, crossing the road and walking on the footpath to the left, for a few hundred yards until... More

Arrived at around 10.45pm and found key to the room on the desk at reception with my name on it. No staff around, which felt slightly haphazard. Still, went to the room. Comfortable enough for the price, with big clean bathroom (with bath). Easy enough to open window for ventilation or use air conditioning. Tried to ring reception to find... More
