This was the first that we had visited Belgium, we arrived by Eurostar and got to our accommodation late afternoon. We emailed in advance with our time of arrival, we were greeted by the manager and her husband who made us feel very welcome. We had the secret suite which was enormous and very spacious. The room was lovely, kitted... More

We stayed at 1669 for 2 nights with friends of ours. We had the loft room and our friends had the secret room. Our room was lovely. It was very large with beams across the ceiling, a roll top bath in the corner of the bedroom (with a curtain if you want privacy), an overhead shower and a separate toilet.... More

Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night. This place is a gem. Spacious and cosy and Svein and Dianna, who look after the place midweek, were ever so helpful and delightful to chat to. Everything from the charm, decor, warm setting (gas fire, dimmed lighting, claw bath, etc), friendly atmosphere make it a perfect place for a romantic stay.

Genuinely one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. We were lucky enough to book the loft room for one night in Sept 2014, all I can say is I wish we could have stayed longer! The whole house is beautiful, amazingly renovated & very well looked after- this is a developer who knows what... More

This small and charming B&B is stylishly decorated with a sophisticated natural palette. Our room was literally tucked up under the roof timbers. It had natural wood floors, skylights to let in fresh air, and a small leaded glass window looking out on the church. A very romantic loft retreat. Our room had a sitting area, places to hang clothes,... More

This has to be, by far, the best B&B I have ever stayed at!!!! From the moment we arrived, it was nothing but hospitality and pure serenity. You could not pick a better place to stay in Bruges!! After having a rather rough start to our holiday in Europe, this B&B more than delivered, they excelled!! Soothing decor/ambiance, quiet location... More

Fantastic. Having spent only a few hours in Bruges previously, we calculated this was probably in the best spot and we were right. Excellent location. Hosts couldn't be more friendly, welcoming or helpful. We stayed in the "Secret Suite" (the Deluxe Suite) and our friends in the romantic loft room, which we would probably choose next time. Ours was a... More

My partner and I stayed here from the 10th September for two nights and we absolutely loved the place! We stayed in Salvatores Suite which takes up most of the middle floor and with a beautiful view of the cathedral! Absolutely stunning. A very large comfortable bed. Immaculate bathroom with shower and bath, Mood lighting, fireplace. Everything you need for... More

We stayed here for x3 nights staying in The Loft room, our decision to stay here was purely based on the Trip advisor reviews, we weren't let down! The first thing to say is the lady who owns the place is a truly lovely lady and made us feel extremely welcome from the first moment we met her. Our room... More

We've just returned home from an absolutely wonderful trip to Bruges. B&B 1669 is truly charming. We stayed in 'The Loft' which was perfect for what we wanted. It had a lovely bed with lovey crisp bed linen and a roll top bath with luxurious toiletries. As we were staying for a special occasion I had requested a bottle of... More
