Great location, beautiful rooms, comfy beds and wholesome fresh breakfast – and friendly hosts Karine and Jessy. Firstly, the 1669 building is a sight to behold, set next to Saint Salvator’s cathedral on the cobbled Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat. There are 4 rooms in 1669, we stayed in the Secret Suite which is at the back of the b&b. We were welcomed by... More

We spent 3 nights here and fell totally in love with Bruges and 1669, we stayed in The Loft, which is at the top of the property, a gorgeous rustic room, the bath is in the room but you can have privacy by pulling the curtain, gorgeous l'occitane products are provided and a complimentary bottle of red wine was left... We are just back from a short trip to Bruges and this B&B was a delight. Excellent location not far from most of the sights and within walking distance of the station, the service was very friendly, the rooms were lovely (although wifi was a little slow) and a very nice breakfast. Highly recommended!

We got back from Brugges last night after a lovely 5 days stay. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the owner who I dragged out of a warm room on several occasions as our wifi was a bit dodgy. Otherwise, the location was fab, offered everything we needed for a central room close to all the amenities... More

The first song that played on the in-room music system was 'It's wonderful'... and that pretty much sums up our two night stay at 1669. We were in Bruges to celebrate my other half's birthday and I really don't think that we could have picked anywhere better to stay. With just four rooms, we decided to book 'The Loft', as... More

This b&b is wonderful! Our room was huge and incredibly comfortable, with complimentary wine left for us. The bathroom was beautiful with very luxurious products. There is, however, only a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom; some guests might find this awkward, we found it hilarious! The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and definitely... More

The 1669 B&B is a fabulously Belgian B&B i.e just perfect! It is right in the centre of Bruges and this very well located and a short walk to for all the attractions of the city. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated and the toiletries were very good quality. The beds very comfortable and a good night's sleep had.... More

B&B 1669 in Bruges, is a 10 minute walk with luggage from the train station. We stayed in the 'Secret Suite' for 4 nights. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom complete with a traditional floor standing bathtub. The room faced away from the street so it was very quiet. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bread, toast, croissants, coffee,... More
