Read all the other reviews, well run by really helpful couple - its a lovely little place!! Stayed in Salvatore suite - can be noisy if you leave the windows open & IF there are noisy folk nearby, but we had a brill nights sleep!

This is a fantastic little B&B which is well located in Bruges. Close to shops, car parking and all the must see sights. We had the Roof with a View room which was very spacious and had a nice view over to the cathedral. The area was surprisingly peaceful in the evening, so had a restful nights sleep. The breakfast... My wife and I made a one night trip to Brugge from Brussels and stayed at this AMAZING Bed and Breakfast. Our room "The Cathedral" was amazing. An incredible combination of rustic 17th century charm and 21st century amenities. The location cannot be beat. A short walk to the Main Square but away from the hoards of summertime tourists. The... This place is a treasure. Skip all big hotel or pay a little more than other b&b. Get a 5 star stay and a treatment in a great environment and with great staff. You feel happy in this place with all it's wonderful furniture and arts. All day refreshments in the nice dinner room overlooking the plaza and church. Complementary... More

This was our first trip to Bruges and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was everything you needed to start the day including cooked if you wanted it. Our host was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble when asked. The cost compares favourably against first class... More

The hotel is very clean and the room is spacious. The setting is beautiful. However, it's a bit of a pain that the service personnel are not at the hotel, but rather at one of the other two properties they manage. Location is not great, but in such a small town it doesn't really matter.

We booked two nights at 1669 B&B based on recommendations here on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed! Very friendly and helpful staff, a really tastefully presented room and a good quality fresh continental breakfast. We stayed in Salvator's Suite which was a large room with an equally large bathroom which was equipped with a separate bath and shower.... More

1669 Bed & Breakfast is a very well-located place to stay - an easy walk to both Bruges's main square and to the Béguinage area. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We were in the Salvador Suite that faced the church square, but noise was not a problem. The bed was a very large double/king and the room itself... More

A truly fabulous experience staying in the "Room With a View" earlier this week. For a building that is almost 350 year ago, the accommodations were stellar! I agree with earlier comments that mobility issues could be a problem for those trying to reach the top floor. But for those that can made the climb, the rewards are great. After... More

Great location, beautiful rooms, comfy beds and wholesome fresh breakfast – and friendly hosts Karine and Jessy. Firstly, the 1669 building is a sight to behold, set next to Saint Salvator’s cathedral on the cobbled Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat. There are 4 rooms in 1669, we stayed in the Secret Suite which is at the back of the b&b. We were welcomed by... More
