We got back from Brugges last night after a lovely 5 days stay. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the owner who I dragged out of a warm room on several occasions as our wifi was a bit dodgy. Otherwise, the location was fab, offered everything we needed for a central room close to all the amenities... More

The first song that played on the in-room music system was 'It's wonderful'... and that pretty much sums up our two night stay at 1669. We were in Bruges to celebrate my other half's birthday and I really don't think that we could have picked anywhere better to stay. With just four rooms, we decided to book 'The Loft', as... More

This b&b is wonderful! Our room was huge and incredibly comfortable, with complimentary wine left for us. The bathroom was beautiful with very luxurious products. There is, however, only a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom; some guests might find this awkward, we found it hilarious! The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and definitely... More

The 1669 B&B is a fabulously Belgian B&B i.e just perfect! It is right in the centre of Bruges and this very well located and a short walk to for all the attractions of the city. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated and the toiletries were very good quality. The beds very comfortable and a good night's sleep had.... More

B&B 1669 in Bruges, is a 10 minute walk with luggage from the train station. We stayed in the 'Secret Suite' for 4 nights. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom complete with a traditional floor standing bathtub. The room faced away from the street so it was very quiet. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bread, toast, croissants, coffee,... More

This was the first that we had visited Belgium, we arrived by Eurostar and got to our accommodation late afternoon. We emailed in advance with our time of arrival, we were greeted by the manager and her husband who made us feel very welcome. We had the secret suite which was enormous and very spacious. The room was lovely, kitted... More

We stayed at 1669 for 2 nights with friends of ours. We had the loft room and our friends had the secret room. Our room was lovely. It was very large with beams across the ceiling, a roll top bath in the corner of the bedroom (with a curtain if you want privacy), an overhead shower and a separate toilet.... More

Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night. This place is a gem. Spacious and cosy and Svein and Dianna, who look after the place midweek, were ever so helpful and delightful to chat to. Everything from the charm, decor, warm setting (gas fire, dimmed lighting, claw bath, etc), friendly atmosphere make it a perfect place for a romantic stay.
