Thank you, Trip Advisor reviewers, for convincing us that Den Witten Leeuw would be the perfect place for our three night stay in Bruge. Your high praise of owner-hostess Anne was the clincher, as we value staying at a B&B with a warm and friendly host. It didn't take long to learn that she is indeed a delightful, caring, and... More

Anne warmly greeted us and gave us a map showing some hot spots to go and visit whilst in Bruges. We were then shown to our room and what a lovely room it was. The room was very spacious and clean with a view to the square below. A nice bathroom with double sinks so we could have one each.... More

We spent 1 night in this wonderful B&B. We were greeted warmly by Anne, on arrival and shown to our room which was beautifully decorated and very spacious with king size bed. In the en suite there was a shower and 2 sinks. The B&B is situated ideally for exploring Bruges and Anne was very helpful and informative in showing... More

We arrived early but Anne let us book in and park the car without any hesitation. The house and décor is typical Belgium style which was interesting and homely. Anne made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Our room and bathroom was spacious and less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. It is expensive to... More

I spent 2 nights in this charming B&B. Ann is wonderful. A couple of friends were staying in a 5 stars hotel, when they visited us, they regretted why they didn't book with us...You can access the railway station by walking. Bruges is an attractive and romantic city

We found Anne's B and B through tripadvisor and were very happy that it exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, an easy walk from the railway station and close to all the main sights. We went for a pre Christmas break with our daughter in laws parents and both rooms we had were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious... More

The place is very spacious and inviting. It is a fairly easy 20 min walk from the Bruges train station. Ann was the perfect hostess and made us a lovely breakfast each morning of fresh bread, fresh fruit with yogurt, and eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our very comfortable and attractive room with roomy attached private bathroom. Ann... More

We stayed one night here but wished it could have been longer. We arrived earlier than the advertised check in and Anne was lovely and happy for us to go straight to the room. The room was large, bright and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also very big with twin basins and a good shower over full sized bath. The... More

This place is a real find. A wonderful host called Anne makes sure you are welcomed comfortable and oriented to the town within moments of arriving. We really appreciated her attention to detail. The hotel is clean and well maintained and comfortable and breakfast more than met expectations. Location is perfect for exploring historic Brugges but is just far enough... More

We've just returned from the most fabulous few days in beautiful Bruges on our honeymoon and we are so glad that we chose this small, idyllic, haven. We had the "Bridal Suite" that spans the attic space at the top of this lovely old house. With it's own sitting room, pretty amazing bathroom, and romantic,four-poster bed,it was really special. Anne, the owner is a lovely... More
