Perfect location, only 2 short blocks off Market Square. Comfy beds, larger rooms than expected for the price. Very atmospheric. Nice breakfast, and you can take it in the medieval cellar if you like. Parts of the building date to the 1300's. One ground floor room is wheelchair accessible.

We stayed her one night on a visit to Brugge with our 2 young children. The location was perfect, just 5 mins walk to main market square. The lady on reception was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Our room was in the oldest part of the hotel (400 years old) it was a vaulted room with beautiful old beams, the... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in July 15. Welcomed by a lovely lady who together with her daughter run this delightful hotel. The hotel is ideally situated only a 5 minute walk from the main square of Bruges and all of the main attractions. We stayed in room number 10 which is on the ground floor and... More

Great stay from start to finish. Friendly & helpful welcome from the young man on reception who speaks English very well. We were able to park our motorcycle outside the hotel side door. We were laughed at when we asked about security, everyone just leaves their cycles unlocked! Massive rooms & bathrooms with double sink. Beautifully renovated old building. Comfy... More

Although this hotel is ideally located very close to the Market Square, my room was very very disappointing ! I spent one night here and had booked 3 single rooms for 2 friends aswell. They had a double bed and single bed in each room and a large bathroom. My room can only be decribed as THE BROOM CUPBOARD at... More

This hotel is so close to the Market Square, which makes it a great location. Our room was huge in comparison to last time we stayed in Brugga. The bathroom also huge! It looks like it's recently been renovated and was very clean. Breakfast was very nice with lots of variety, the scrambled eggs were lovely. Free wifi in the... More

The hotel is a very short walk from Market Square but away from the busy areas so noise is not a problem. The building is old but it has been tastefully renovated on the inside. We had first floor rooms facing the street which were very large if somewhat dark. The bathroom facilities were excellent, large and modern. Access to... More

I loved this hotel & I loved Bruges, I can't believe I haven't visited before. My first sense that was delighted was my nose, the hotel smells beautiful. I loved how the medieval building had been converted, the layout of the rooms and the cute, winding staircase. I stayed with my family of five, including teenagers, all in one room.... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of June 2015. We flew in to Brussels and took the train. This was very easy. The train station is at the airport. We decided to take a cab from the train station to The Boterhuis. It cost about $10. Our room was ready when we arrived around 1:30. The man... More

This place is in a great location. They provide garage parking a block away which is really convenient. The room was okay. No A/C. Good cross ventilation with the windows, but it is in a busy location, so keeping the windows open was frustrating. It was more because of people traffic than cars, lots of laugher and commotion with people... More
