We did not enjoy our stay here. No access to sitting room during the day if you wanted to relax as they locked the doors after breakfast - more like a motel than a B&B. Generally very untidy. Towels in bathroom old, thin and small. Make sure you do not have an upstairs room. Almost impossible to get up stairs... More

We were staying three nights in a room downstairs. The room was quite small, had an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub to take showers in. We felt the room was very small and hard to vent, with doubled windows to one side. The bathroom has had its best days and needs renovation, the silicon seams are gone and grow mold.... More

We stayed in the 'cosy tiny house', a small cottage in the garden of the bread and breakfast. Brilliantly furnished with quirky features that make the most of the available space. Very private and surprisingly spacious with a lovely gas fire that had been turned on for our arrival! Only a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Brugges. Owners... More

Overall, my husband and I had a nice stay at this B&B. There were a few things that we were slightly disappointed by. First, do not try to walk here from the train station, it would be a very long walk. We took the bus, and unfortunately got dropped off at the wrong stop so we got a little lost... More

As the last city on our two week European tour we booked the B&B beforehand knowing we would definitely end up in Bruges. We knew that Debruyne was a modern house designed by the owner himself and while it was a stunning unique building there was a smidgen of disappointment when we arrived in Bruges and realized the style of... We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the experience very much. For a B&B the beds very comfy and the breakfast was tasty with lots on offer! Marie-Rose and Ronny were lovely hosts, extremely helpful and very approachable during breakfast time. The design of the house itself is fun to look at and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location... More

We enjoyed our one-night stay at this B & B. They were prepared for our visit, and left us a note and the key to our room. The room was quite spacious, and comfortable with a good bed and plenty of hot water in the bath. It was not a very long walk from the Markt, but we suggest you... More

As Bruges is pretty sought after in summer, we could not have rooms at any of our first choices B&B (several also require bookings for at least two nights, and we were staying only one). Debruyne proved to be a convenient second choice. Well located, and with absolutely charming hosts. The delicious and generous breakfast, with a pleasant garden view,... More

my wife and i carefully reviewed our options in this lovely city. we chose this b&b because of the preponderance of favorable reviews. we prefer to keep our lodging costs as close to 60 euros as possible, with 30% discount to the USD as a reference. we were warmly greeted by marie-rose who graciously carried our luggage up two flights... A study in contrasts. A very modern house, with lots of polished cement, tiles, steel and glass within a world heritage historic township. Think round doorways with a central pivot, to move from the B&B bedrooms to the communal kitchen. As others have reported, the breakfasts were very good. Both the egg cups and chair backs differed for each person,... More
