The owner was incredibly helpful and takes a lot of pride in what he does. This may sound minor, but it was a breath of fresh air to meet someone who loved what they did. The location was great, food was good. I intend to stay here again should I ever return to Brugge.

Hotel was located very centrally to the city of Bruges, but because it was on an side road, it was very quiet. There was computer facilities which was very helpful. stayed at the hotel, ok it needs updating, needs money spent on it, needs renovation. but the boiled egg for my breakfast with crusty rolls was fantastic.

OK, the stairs killed me once I used it 3 times( I stayed on the 2nd floor ) one day.I saw they tried to be nice & clean and bed was clean and nice but the room itself needs fresh up.I once smelled mold from drainage of shower space.One night is OK but cannot stay more than 2 nights... Everything throughout the hotel smelt of smoke, including us after two nights. It has a feeling of faded glory - elaborate furnishings and bar downstairs, but the facilities aren't great.
