This Hotel was perfect location, decent price, along with a decent breakfast. The women working the front desk was one of the most unfriendly people I met in Europe. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location is wonderful. Bruges is small, but this hotel is within very short walking distance of the bell tower. We stayed for one night. The internet site presents the place very neatly and covers up ALL there is really is too expect. The room was filthy, the carpet was wet, the smell is plainly disgusting and revolting. VERY BAD place to sleep. Simply a dump hole! Basic accommodation. Very steep staircase, room small but adequate. Best thing is location, right in the heart of the City. Breakfast = Croissant, bread, rolls, jams/honey and hard or soft boiled egg - not the usual fayre of cold meat, cheese, yoghurts etc. Would recommend for a short stay - we only stayed one night. more

We loved our stay at this cozy hotel. True, first looks might be deceptive, but the rooms are clean with private bathroom, great breakfast included in the room price, very friendly owner and staff and just the perfect location to explore this beautiful city. Next time in Bruges we'll stay there again! Excellent value for money. more

If Bruges is you thing than this is the place to stay! Central to everything in this beautiful little town the Hotel Notre Dame is fantastic.
