Folks, this is not a Disney castle and it's not a five star hotel. It is just a beautiful and unique experience, I would even say once in a lifetime. They hand you the key, show you the room and you are on your own. The grounds and the castle are amazingly beautiful. Take time to look at the books... More

We stayed for three nights in a large room with high ceilings for an authentic castle experience. Room was charming with lots of light coming in the multiple windows and I loved the rustic old world feel to the place. The breakfast room was incredible, picture worthy and you truly feel like royalty. I enjoyed the honor bar next to... More

A little outside of Brugge, this hotel/ castle is truly remarkable. The service is without question wonderful and friendly. I was there with my sister, niece and my wife and got the room with three beds. While the bed was a little creaky, it just added to the charm:) The hostess was so welcoming. She showed us all the amenities... More

We stayed in the family room which gave us access to one of the towers. Our room was not as nice as some of the other we saw, but it was huge and perfect for a family. How often do you get to stay in a place like this. A real treat.

IF my three sons were young today and I were taking them here - I would tell them "we are going to stay in a real Kastle, with its moat full of water, surrounding it. Just like in the Harry Potter movies" :) ... ... but they are now in their 30's and may enjoy this with their young children... More

this castle is 800 years old. Very well maintained. enjoyed exploring the gardens and rooms. you really feel like royalty there. Beautiful large bedrooms. Good breakfast in yet another beautiful room. Free wifi. Short drive into bruge town. Stayed two nights. A bit more than what we would normally spend but was worth it for the place it was. Unforgetable... More

The Kasteel is located outside of town in a beautiful park- like setting. The rooms are large with high ceilings and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The room I was given had a private bathroom, but it was located across the hall. Bicycles are available for guest use and the desk personnel are happy to provide directions. If you... More

We loved our two night stay in this authentic historic castle and feel fortunate we were among the last of the guests to experience this unique opportunity. Sadly, the B n B aspect is coming to an end next week.

How often does one get to spend a night in a castle? We are glad we did this. The property is beautiful, and our room was spacious with nice high ceilings. The bathroom was also very nice and had a big tub with jets. The bed was comfortable, but be warned that it is really two twin beds pushed together.... More

How many people can say they have slept in a castle? Kasteel ten Berge is magical. Outside of Brugge and set back from the road behind a small woods and farmers' fields, the castle takes you back in time. The public rooms are richly decorated with many family portraits dating back centuries and the European continental breakfast is set in... More
