Very nice privately run hotel in a quiet location but close to all Brugge activities including bars, restaurants, museums and canals and within easy reach of the bus and rail station. The staff were polite amd helpful and the rooms were clean and very comfortable and the continental breakfast was very adequate. I would have given five stars but the... More

We had a top floor room. It was great it had a queen sized bed and also a twin sized Murphy bed. I liked that you could see the wooden beams of the roof in the room. The view from the room was awesome. It looked straight down onto St. Salvators cathedral. It was a 10 minute walk from the... More

Very near to center just 300m. Breakfast is good. Staff very friendly. Rooms have very nice details like chess table, aquarium etc. Welcome drink (local belgian beer) breakfast fresh orange juice, scramble egg/waffle and small open buffet. It's ok.

we got the orange room, and it was fab! even the fish were welcoming! the staff were friendly, and the location was terrific. plus, the breakfast was very good. once we connected to the wifi, there was a note saying the hotel was being updated. apparently we got one of the older rooms, but we loved it.

This hotel is in an excellent location. A quick five-minute walk to all the wonderful attractions. We also had a great breakfast( included with price of room) The food was great and fresh. Order the Belgium waffle. The best I have had. Moreover, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel clerk/bartender, Max, presented us with a discount card-for food,... More

We visited the hotel for another year on our annual visit to Bruges and the WWI historical sites. Perhaps a little apprehensive having heard it had been sold. We need not have worried. It was as good as ever and just as quirky. An excellent central location, very clean rooms and bar areas, with good and comfortable accommodation. Friendly an... More

Brugge is the first location of our trip and Hotel Salvators is a good place to stay! In the map, it shows that it's 10 minutes walk straight from the train station, but we spend more than 20 minutes. It's hard to walk on the rocky road when you have to carry the big luggage, so it is advised to... More

Having read the reviews of other people I got the impression that this was a very different type of hotel - weren't wrong! However we booked a double economy room but feel it was overpriced for what it was . First of all the positives - lovely old building in good central location opposite the cathedral, only about 15 minutes... More

Our first stay in Bruges and won't be our last! Couldn't have hoped for a better base for our trip. There is so much to see and do in Bruges. The hotel is ideally located. It was a 10 minute walk from the Bus Station and easy to find. It is also within walking distance of everywhere in Bruges. Th... More
