Hotel Salvators is a lovely character hotel in the heart of historic Bruges. Facing Sint Salvador's Cathedral and less than 10mins walk from the Market Square and Belfry Tower, the location couldn't be better. Be aware that as with many historic buildings in the city, disabled access is limited and staircases are steep so be sure to tell the hotel... More

Stayed for our 41st wedding anniversary from 9th to 12th August in room 8. Very nice room overlooking the cathedral. It rained a lot so we spent two evenings sampling the beer in the bar rather than go out. Very reasonably priced and good and friendly service. Breakfast very good but cold buffet only although they will offer you waffle... More

Paid extra to stay in one of the larger rooms - Jacuzzi, balcony, mezzanine bedroom with fishtank, sink also a fish tank. Lots of secret cupboards and doors that reveal various treasures!! Nice hotel!

This is a neat place very old building pretty close to everything. the breakfast is good the waffles made to order. The resident cat as the run of the hotel. The only downside is there is no elevator and we were given a tiny room in the attic where you had to climb up a very narrow stairs to the... More

The hotel is right by the cathedral and about 20 metres from the main shopping street - 5 minutes walk from the central Market Square. It is a seventeenth century building, and it is easy to imagine the interior as it would have been originally. We had room 8 which is on the second floor (stairs only); it is smallish... More

We returned this year as usual on our annual Bruges trip. Excellent as always with a great location and friendly staff. Good breakfast and quirky rooms especially the teddy bear lamp in Room 8! Will be back again soon.

The Salvator is in an excellent location very close to the Main Street and market square. The staff were very helpful right from check in up to looking after our luggage after we checked out. The gar man was great and although the bar closes at 10.00 he was always happy to serve a little later time. The prices at... More

stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel which I believe is one of the cheapest in the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ollie the barman /receptionist helped us with maps and where to go.( recommended the Trappist bar, so many different beers to choose from). The hotel bar had a collection of board games and a fine selection... More

The location was amazing, the room was very nice. One of the best showers ever, and a great breakfast. but the hotel staff was extremely rude. I would have given them five stars if it was not for the staff. They treated us like idiots and were not helpful. If it was not for the staff I would also stay... More

That is the motto that greets you at reception. I have nothing against Novotel, but this is certainly a highly original place to stay. A beautiful old building on the doorstep of St Salvators Cathedral in Brugges, and a step away form the main shopping streets, yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms are highly original, with cool designs. We stayed... More
