This is a nice traditionally historic building with antique furnishings, high ceilings and character. We booked 2 twin superior rooms with canal views, on arrival they had us down for 2 doubles and there initially were no twins and as the reception staff were on their own they were reluctant to split up the beds and re make them. Eventually... More

Great room, quiet, clean, well maintained and very spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful and had good local knowledge. I would definitely go back. Hotel was just a short stroll to the city centre with the vast array of attractions and restaurants.

The location is nice, not in the center, but close enough to walk and be quiet. Its an old house, beautifully decorated. Our room was big, with the canal view both in the room and the bathroom. The only down side was that to get to our room to have to get an elevator and then stairs, like 10 steps,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a Eurostar package. We had a very nice Garden room with a small balcony area, which with the good weather we had was a bonus to enjoy and stand out on. The hotel was an easy 20-25 mins walk from the station and is beautifully situated along the... More

Stayed couple of days at this wonderful hotel in the center of Brugges. Nicely decorated room, fairly spacious, clean and very romantic. The hotel indoor parking is a few blocks away and somewhat difficult to find but the rest of our experience was wonderful. The breakfast is served on white table cloths with a large variety of breads, cheeses, meats,... More

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It is central to everything, yet secluded enough for quiet. Bruges is such a lovely little town with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. We took a boat tour of the canals that was wonderful. And try the Belgium beer and flemish stew.

The old building makes the hotel interesting and unusual, with winding passages and rooms with original features. The furnishings and decoration are nicely in keeping with the building, but necessary needs for a modern hotel have been included (other than for our room no real shower facility for the bath). We had a spacious room, with original beams, and a... More

For my 60th birthday we decided to spend a long weekend in Bruges. We found this hotel as part of a Eurostar package - centrally located overlooking a canal - sounded ideal. We upgraded to a superior room overlooking the canal. The Eurostar trip was very simple. On arrival in Brussels on platform 1 we took the escalator down to... More

We recently spent two nights here on a short visit to Bruges. We had booked a package with Eurostar and weren't quite sure what to expect. We took the bus from the station and were unsure where to alight as there didn't seem to be any identifiable signing at the bus stop. We managed to get off the bus at... More

I had read reviews and understood this was a four star hotel I was disappointed we had booked a superior room with canal view the room was ok but the toilet door Handel fell off the aircon did not work so we slept with the windows open very noisy as there is a busy road by the canal which we...
