Unfortunately I'm only getting around to wriring this review now but better late than never. My wife and I spent 4 nights in April (Easter time) being looked after by the wonderful Benno and Frieda in their beautiful guesthouse. We can't agree more with the other reviews. Beautiful B&B (breakfast is truly "to die for") in great location. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Owners Freida and Benno we wonderful hosts -- friendly, generous and helpful without being intrusive. Absoluut Verhulst represented what Brugge is to us -- a centuries old, beautiful, exciting and comfortable place that I would love... more

My wife and I recently stayed here and loved the place. The owners were amazing and they serve one of the best breakfasts I have had on any trip to Europe. Highly recommended! more

Freida and Benno own a lovely, peaceful and well-placed B&B in the heart of Bruges. The location may it easy to utilize public transportation from the train to Absoluut Verhulst. Our group - there was four adults - walked all over the city from the B&B at all hours of the day/night. As for the establishment...the photos don't do it... more

We visited the B&B Absoluut Verhulst the 3rd week in March and have to say it will be a "memorable" experience I will cherish forever. This also holds true for my spouse, daughter and her boyfriend. A lovely B&B with the kindest hosts ever! We only stayed 1 night, but wish it had been longer! Absoluut Verhulst was a wonderful find down a quiet street in Bruges. Frieda and Benno were fabulous hosts and the accommodations were perfect! The room was very cozy and wonderful retreat. The breakfast was also fantastic with great company. Would highly recommend this gem in Bruges! more

Excellent doesn't cover it - this was simply the most charming B&B I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. For comfort and welcome, it beats hotels of considerable reputation.
