I am not sure why all the negative reviews. This hotel was great, clean, spacious, and had a safe. The location was unbeatable. Service was...a little off. Also the fact that nobody runs the front door is kind of odd. But that is because the staff are at the sister hotel across the street. When you look at the price... More

This hotel is located off the main streets but is close enough to be in the market square in a 10 minute walk. Not being on the main street was great, since the horse and carriage rides run from 9am-11pm and you can hear the clip clop all over town. It's one block from the church with the Brugge Madonna.... The front staff at check-in is nice, but it was the only time that we have seem him - the only thing we've seen at reception in the 3 nights that we've stayed in the hotel was an empty chair. Staff at breakfast answer your questions, but lacks proactiveness. However, the worst aspect is the room. While advertised, there was... More

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! Unless you are a masochist and enjoy shocking service. Upon arrival we waited for 10 mins for anyone to deign to come over from the sister hotel across the road. Upon his arrival, the proprietor berated us for telling him that we didn't think much of his levels of service. After a 5 minute... More

The facility smelled very old and moldy. The steps are very narrow and unsafe. The toilet was very uncomfortable for a tall person....the over head add-on. The breakfast was very good... The parking fee was outrageous. Most park garages in the near were 8.70 euros per day.

We have really enjoyed this small cozy hotel. The room (110) was just perfect with all the necessary comfort. Beautiful color combination of curtains and bedspread. In this hotel you really feel the familial and homely atmosphere. The old wooden stairs and creaky parquet floors in the hallways are proof that the hotel owners have tried to preserve the cozy... After a horrendous start to our holiday with the Floris Kavos Hotel we were pleased to have found this little diamond in the rough! They took us in when our other hotel reservation was cancelled due to being double booked (a special mention to the night porter! Absolute gentleman!) the hotel was clean and in a great location. Breakfast was... More

Looked like a nice hotel, on arriving after 7pm there was no one at the reception , we rang the bell and a lady appeared from the hotel on the opposite side of the road, we checked in and was then informed our room was on the 3rd floor, quite a trek up the tiny staircase to the attic, lovely room,... About 15min walk from the station - easy to find even for those of us with no sense of direction. Yes the reception is across the road, but it took seconds for someone to run across and check us in. Breakfast is also across the road, but that was no trouble either. The main door shuts at midnight but your... More

Nice, clean, quiet but microscopically small room with a superb bed right on the edge of historic downtown, walking distance to everything. No WiFi, had to cross the street to main hotel to get bars. Breakfast also across the street, Watery canned scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon for breakfast but great bread, cold dining room.
