Having Stayed at the sister hotel we booked this with a little apprehension but was presently surprised. Clean room and functional but what stood out was the amazingly friendly and helpfully staff such a contrast to the hotel de castillion. A friendly smile and hello says a lot. Would definitely book this hotel again very reasonable and excellent location

This hotel as others have said is an annexe of the hotel opposite. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in hotel opposite and was superb .... try the chocolate bars mmmm. Easy to find from station walk up through the park, go past the concert hall into the square. Turn right into town and when you get to the cathedral on... More

This hotel is really an annex of the hotel opposite. However, the facilities of the main hotel area available so that's not an issue. The building itself is quaint but our rooms were modern, very clean with good facilities. We had a bath and shower. The bed was enormous and comfortable. We had a safe which is always a reassuring... This hotel is linked to the nicer looking hotel opposite and when you first walk in it doesn't look overly exciting. We had already been told that the desk was not manned so we were not surprised to have to ring the bell for assistance. We were on the 2nd floor and, unfortunately there is not lift, but all was... Firstly, book this hotel with your eyes open! If you read any reviews you will know it's the sister hotel of the one directly opposite so when you book in you just ring the bell at reception and someone comes over to book you in. Simples. The hotel is quant and quiet and the room was lard modem with a... More

I am not sure why all the negative reviews. This hotel was great, clean, spacious, and had a safe. The location was unbeatable. Service was...a little off. Also the fact that nobody runs the front door is kind of odd. But that is because the staff are at the sister hotel across the street. When you look at the price... More

This hotel is located off the main streets but is close enough to be in the market square in a 10 minute walk. Not being on the main street was great, since the horse and carriage rides run from 9am-11pm and you can hear the clip clop all over town. It's one block from the church with the Brugge Madonna.... The front staff at check-in is nice, but it was the only time that we have seem him - the only thing we've seen at reception in the 3 nights that we've stayed in the hotel was an empty chair. Staff at breakfast answer your questions, but lacks proactiveness. However, the worst aspect is the room. While advertised, there was... More

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! Unless you are a masochist and enjoy shocking service. Upon arrival we waited for 10 mins for anyone to deign to come over from the sister hotel across the road. Upon his arrival, the proprietor berated us for telling him that we didn't think much of his levels of service. After a 5 minute... More

The facility smelled very old and moldy. The steps are very narrow and unsafe. The toilet was very uncomfortable for a tall person....the over head add-on. The breakfast was very good... The parking fee was outrageous. Most park garages in the near were 8.70 euros per day.
