A very belated but still positive review of Guesthouse Mirabel. It was located in the center of historic Bruges in a beautiful building. my wife and I and another couple stayed one night last August. The location was great, and it was a wonderful old building...lots of character. We stayed on the top floor, and our only complaint about the... More

this guesthouse was lovely - great accommodations with a very spacious room and palatial bathroom. Gaston was very friendly and made excellent recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. The location is perfectly situated not far from the main square.

I stayed here with my girlfriend, for a weekend break in Bruges. The bed and breakfast is well located approximately 200 metres from the city centre and was easy to find. (When you arrive, it is not signposted, so just ring the bell on number 15, the property with the large white doors). There is a car park which is... More

We stayed at this accommodation from 30th December to 2nd January. It was very homely, the owner Gaston and his son gave us such a warm welcome and could not do enough for us during our stay. The room was quiet large, warm and comfortable. The location could not be beaten just a five minute stroll to the main square... More

Mirabel is a guesthouse with easy access to all parts of old Bruges. It is very clean, basic and functional. Gaston, who owns the business, is very accommodating and nothing is a problem. The breakfast is basic, but really all you need for a good start to the day. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in in... More

This place is very central to the town square and is easy walking to most of the sites, the b&b is old and quaint run by Gaston who seems to do everything and looks run off his feet, the breakfast is ok not much of a selection but enough to fill you "no toaster" which is odd, the room has... More

We visited Bruges for the Christmas Market and 'The Mirabel' is a great budget B&B very close to the Market square. The host, Gaston, was superb and both friendly and attentive. It is very much a 'one-man-show' in terms of reception. (When we arrived we were an hour early, which meant calling him, using the number on the door, from... More

Guesthouse Mirabel is a really nice place to stay when visiting Bruges, reasonably priced compared to many 'tourist trap' hotels in Bruges and quite nicely a few minutes from the main tourist hub, but still within walking distance of everywhere. Gaston was very helpful with suggestions, i was traveling alone and hadn't been to Bruges, so it was nice to... More

We stayed here for two nights. It's very tastefully decorated And spotlessly clean. Rooms were large with no frills..Bed was very comfortable. An excellent breakfast was included. Gaston our host was helpful and punctual. A smoker? Smelled it in lobby on arrival. The cons are that is was cold on arrival but rooms soon heated up, and breakfast room was magnificent... More

beautiful building, lovely hosts, fantastic large rooms, good breakfast and close to everything. However there are a lot of stairs and no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. A simple tea/coffee station at the entrance would be great so people could use when they have returned. Especially in winter.
