4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

The last time I was in the hotel was three years ago. The rooms were worn but the view from the room (322-same as three years ago) was spectacular. I understand there are new owners and some remodeling has occurred. The rooms are definitely nicer. They appear to have new furniture. On the downside, their small restaurant, which used to... More

Thieves and poor rooms. Avoid. Don't be fooled by the nice location. Crappy room. Can't stand in the shower. Door lock suspect. In a place surrounded by hotels, this one needs to be passed. Lots of other options.

This hotel housed, in a 16th century building, is doing its best to accommodate the present without loosing it's original feel and doing it very well. Our room was bright and big with high ceilings and tall windows, very tastefully decorated. We had a third bed installed for a grandchild which was almost invisible in this big lovely room. The... We stayed in room 27, beautiful view over the canal. We could have quite happily spent our entire trip sitting in the window people watching. We wasn't sure what to expect as we made our way up the narrow stairs, but we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was good, continental with a wide variety. Definitely staying here again! Our only gripe... More

large room, right on the canal. can look out from bed, couch or bathrom to prettiest spot in Bruges. Very reasonably priced, good European breakfast included. Right next to the Beer Wall, block from Clock tower, main square, right nest to most photographed spot in Bruges. Excellent!

Our first trip to Bruges was made memorable by the friendly welcome we received from the staff at the Hotel Bourgoensch Hof. Centrally sited, and said to be one of the most photographed buildings in Bruges, the hotel more than lived up to our expectations. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable, and although air-conditioned, we chose to sleep with the... More

After reading some mixed reviews on Trip Advisor I wasn't sure what to expect! We arrived & were welcomed immediately by very friendly & helpful staff. We had a room with a big bay window that looked out onto the street at the lovely old buildings & a fab view of the church up the street & it is on... More

We stayed in this hotel in June and we were given the room with a fantastic view! The room itself was quiet large and the bed very comfortable but due to single glazing, a little noisy. The disappointing breakfast and especially the poor coffee brings my review down a bit: I expect good coffee in Belgium and a little chocolate... More

It's beautiful from the outside with a fantastic location but it's run down in the inside. We were greeted very friendly by one of the staff members and we were looking forward to stay a night. Walking up the fusty smelling hallway our excitement disappeared and was completely gone after entering the very old and shabby looking room. All furniture... More

Hi, We are a couple looking for a nice hotel in bruge. This hotel is in the middle of the old city. Even apears in the most photografied place of city. 2 minuts of main squares, 5 min of cathedral. perfect to be in the center. Staff was excellent. But except of been in the middle, it has nothing more.... More
