Have just returned from this hotel, it was small family run hotel with the family taking a real pride in it. We were made welcome by Veronique as soon as we walked through the door. The room that had been booked for us was described as a small double but when we entered the room it was an ample size... More

We recently stayed in this family run hotel and would 100% come back again next time we visit Bruges. Veronique looked after myself and my girlfriend from the moment we entered the door. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the hotel in a lovely room overlooking the gardens. The room itself was quite modern but did lack anywhere to... More

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Hotel Alegria with one of our daughters. The breakfasts were very good - with a varied and generous selection of food and drinks, including fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, and choice of cereals. Also freshly squeezed orange juice, teas, coffees, water and hot chocolate. Eggs could also be requested. The... More

Myself and two friends stayed here for 1 night in January in the large triple room. We chose the Alegria because of the reasonable price and the good location. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main train station and is just a couple of minutes from the Grote Markt. When we arrived we were given a map... More

My boyfriend and I have just come back from staying at the hotel alegria and had a wonderful time. Veronique was very helpful on arrival and showed us where to go and what to see. We stayed in the chocolate room which was very boutique with lovely views, and spotless! The breakfast was continental and very yummy with egg cooked... More

My stay at Hotel Alegria in early June 2014 was wonderful. Veronique is a magnificent hostess who made me feel at home - and a part of the family. Her breakfasts were wonderful! She really puts her heart and soul into the place and it shows. I stayed in the Chocolate room. It was spotless and had a true boutique... More

We have visited Alegria hotel last weekend, in an attempt to break up a little bit with Brussels and looking for some stress free weekend in Brugges. Simply and without a lot of explanation, it was an amazing idea and such a comfortable place since the first family aspect welcoming at the hotel reception. The location is perfect to stay... More

This hotel was conveniently located near the town centre. A very easy walk to all attractions and around the town. Our hostess looked after us wonderfully and breakfast was a treat. Highly recommended.

This tasteful, small hotel was a welcome retreat from a very busy post-Christmas Bruges. Despite being only a couple of minutes from the main square this lovely large triple room was a cosy refuge from the crowds. There is nothing we could find fault with - the breakfast was good and plentiful, the beds were huge and comfortable, the wifi... More
