You'd struggle to get a better location than this. 3 minute walk from main square, and in walking distance of all the attractions. 20 min walk from the train station, approx 8 - 10 euros in a cab. They offer continental breakfasts which vary each day, plus Veronique is happy to cook scrambled egg for those that want it. Very well located with just a short walk to the Markt. The beds were very comfortable and the garden was lovely for breakfast or just relaxing. Veronique is an absolute gem: unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and she was able to accomodate simple dietary restrictions with no problem. The room faced... More

Nice hotel to stay during your trip to Brugge. The lady who runs the place is also very friendly. The hotel is in the very centre of the city and only 200 meter from the big market / Belfort. The only thing I can comment on the location of the hotel is the fact that some drunk people at night... More

This is a lovely small Hotel/Guest house very well located close to the main square. There are 2 excellent Restaurants within metres of the Hotel. The breakfasts were very fresh with very good attention to detail. Veronica, the owner, was very friendly & helpful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. Tony O.

The hotel is located very close to the centre of Bruge's Markt. It is small and has a homely feel. Our room, on the first floor, was tastefully decorated in muted greens and pinks and overlooked the pretty courtyard garden. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The owner, Veronica, could not have been... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alegria and in Bruges. Veronique is very proud of her home city and justifiably so. There is not much she does not know and is willing to share her knowledge and some family experiences. She personally prepares and serves the best continental breakfast we have seen. Everything fresh and appetising. The room, and... More
