We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting with friends in Bruges. It was myself and 2 small children (3 & 5). We stayed in a triple room and it was PERFECT! The room was clean, large and bright. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast and it was great. I found the family that owned this hotel... More

Very pleasant owner and staff, couldn`t have been more helpful or courteous, bedroom checked and cleaned every day, only problem was the room tax to be paid on leaving €18 (€3.60 a day), felt the travel agent I booked break with should have told me about the room tax, when I contacted the travel agent they informed me that Belguim... Stayed one night. Room was fab and beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 12 which was a room with eaves - very characterful and the children (8 & 6) loved it. Breakfast was good and off site parking available. Service ok but as in the rest of Bruges not overly friendly or that interested in the tourists !

Our favorite places to stay when traveling are bed and breakfasts with charm and the Anselmus didn't disappoint....from a clean, cozy room to a great location within walking distance of everything....and excellent guidance from the proprietor to places to eat, chargers for IPads, and wonderful things to do. Our stay in Brugge seemed 'just right' thanks to Ronnie and all... More

We spent a night in this great little hotel and enjoyed it on many levels. First, it's centrally located with a short walk to the center of town. Second, the owner helped us get our bearings very quickly with spot on advice for dining and seeing the sights. Also, the room is cozy and the bed and linens are really... More

This hotel is located very close to the center of Bruges. We stayed there 3 nights and I can't say enough about this gem of a hotel. We stayed on the ground floor in room 21. The room was extremely large, with good lightning. The room was spotless. The only difficulty was the lack of shower. There is a shower... More

We really enjoyed this hotel located just a few blocks from the central market area of Bruges. Entering the hotel, one walks into a pleasant sitting room (people were actually sitting in there and enjoying some wine when we arrived. The staff is very cordial and friendly. The room itself is a bit small, but not uncomfortably so. The room... More

Very welcoming seemingly family run hotel located centrally with easy walking access to all the sites in Bruges. Service was flawless and they had thought of everything - map with suggested walking routes from the hotel, map with clear directions from the parking garages (not far away walking, but in the old narrow streets a trickier drive) - though was... The hotel is run by its owners. It is very well located, near everything. The rooms where spacious, but I cannot say the same about the shower. The breakfast was really well served and nice, great coffee. I recommend the place!

The hotel is in a good location just a couple of minutes walk from the main tourist sites but pleasantly far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful. The owners are a nice couple who work hard and do their best to ensure you have everything you need. You are supplied with a tourist card, a list... More
