We have just spent 3 nights at this really first class hotel. We had a standard room (no 4) which was well appointed and spotlessly clean. We give 5 stars to the breakfast. It just cannot be faulted. the reception staff are friendly and give advice freely. The catering staff, one word, superb. We would certainly return to this hotel... More

We stayed there with pleasure, the room has a nice view of this medieval town and Belfry (great view), wood furniture, good bathroom with quality stuff. Breakfast room and the food was great, also the public area and the bar space, The receptionist, Sven, was very nice and gave us some tips. The location is very good, very close to... More

Every trip my wife and I try to find one hotel that is extra special. We had planned this to be the Oud Huis de Peellaert and we were not disappointed! The check-in was smooth and the parking off property was easy to get to and secure. We were given a large room at the back of the property and... More

This hotel won tripadvisor best in 2014, I don't agree. To start we had a nice room on the third floor that smelled like sewer ever time we walked in from being out all day. The gentlemen at the front desk (the snob) wanted to bring us some air fresher to mask the smell. The wi-fi didn't work unless you... More

This hotel is well -placed as a base to explore Bruges - just minutes from the Main Square. It is elegantly decorated and exudes old-world charm and elegance. The bedrooms are tasteful and roomy; breakfasts are plentiful and provide a wide choice. Overall, a great place to stay and not at all noisy in the street-facing bedrooms, as other reviewers... More

We checked in on 14th September. We were in a group as the holiday was to visit WW1 battlefields with Great Rail Journeys. However check in was very efficient all things considered. I found the front of house staff to be extremely helpful and friendly during the whole stay. Our room was ok and I was glad it was at... More

Beautiful luxury hotel located minutes from the Grote Markt and the Burg. It's located away from the main tourist streets, like Wollestraat, Kuiperstraat and Breidelstraat. The cruise ships come in on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so there are never enough taxis to accommodate all. The hotel staff were friendly and helped cancel another hotel reservation in Amsterdam. The breakfast is... More

Location is excellent but I found the bedrooms lacking the much promised character - we were at the back rooms 213 & 214 both of which had a corporate feel. Carpet not hoovered during our stay. Slightly brusque front of house male staff member. Expensive to park in hotel car park on top of already expensive room price and be... More

I'd be gutted as the owner of this converted town house if I knew there was a late night bar and hostel opposite , or did they know and it was poor planning? So anyway - fabulous room and decor, bad nights sleep due to the inconsiderate idiots opposite ...not hotels fault but who was there first...wouldn't come back unless... More
