This was our second visit to Bruges and knowing our way around the town we chose this hotel for location and charm for our visit for the Xmas markets. It was without fault , on arrival we were warmly greeted, the room was lovely, the hotel quaint. The family running the hotel were very helpful and on the first morning... More

We had a fantastic short break in Bruges and this was a perfect place to stay. Friendly and helpful hosts, great breakfast and a comfortable and quiet room. We will definitely return here the next time we visit Bruges.

Mum and I went to Bruges to spend some time together. The hotel was fabulous. The staff couldn't have helped anymore. Breakfast was a feast and the location is fabulous for sightseeing. Everywhere was so quiet and relaxed. Loads of hot water for showers and lovely clean linen and room. We had a truly amazing time and can't wait to... More

A hotel that truly reflected the descriptions and worthy of the 4 star rating. Olivier was excellent host, maid service excellent, pity that the restaurant is no longer used. Olivier explained changes to be made Jan 2016 ref breakfast room, new bedrooms and complete revamp of existing rooms and the use of the old restaurant and lounge area which are... More

We stayed in a "very small room" booked on Hotwire (mystery hotel when booking, just based on zone and star level). The room was not large, but definitely adequate for two people and luggage. Bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Not a brand new hotel, but had good historic details. There were a lot of narrow steep stairs, so... More

I booked a 'small room'....and it was but was perfectly functional and spotless ( couple loose sockets ) but bigger shower then a lot of other hotels I have stayed in! We could also open huge window - so did not 'boil' plus had lush view of the moon! Steps were fun but Oliver , the family owner, said they... More

We spent a week in this hotel, it was very charming but a little tired. We were told that next year it is being refurbished and a lift installed, this will be a great benefit as there are quite a lot of stairs. The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and always keen to help. The buffet breakfast... More

The hotel has one of the prettiest exteriors on the street, covered in ivy. Our room was traditionally decorated, very clean, with plenty of towels, soft robes and spare pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. I've read some complaints here that the hotel is not modern in design, but I really think that would take away from an authentic feeling... More
