This hotel is so pretty with lots of local decor and character ( and a lovely courtyard ) and very cosy rooms - our triple room, number 12 was spacious and very clean ! It is in the perfect location within 5 minutes walk to many chocolate shops, the beer factory, museums, a pick up point for boat trips and... More

Booked the hotel as we wanted a central, roomy and quiet room. It filled all of those expectations. Rooms are quite dated but have all the necessary comforts. Hotel staff friendly. Really fantastic location which was lovely and quiet (excluding the inescapable bells of Bruge which I think just add to the experience) and the continental breakfast was good. The... More

I wanted to take a short city break staying in the heart of this beautiful city and this small hotel fitted the bill exactly. An elegant building, well appointed with a comfortable but slightly quirky room. The bathroom was up a short flight of steps. Excellent breakfast served in a very relaxed atmosphere. The fine dining looked very appealing: with... More

I had reserved for 4 days in the hotel's other accommodation (Gheestelic Hof) across the street, but on arrival was told that it was closed for upgrades/repairs of the electrical system, but I would instead be given a room in the more upscale Hotel De Castillion. The room and bath room were both spacious and nicely decorated, and scrupulously cleaned... More

We booked this hotel based on ratings on booking.com. Regret to say reality is quite different. The staff at reception was not friendly, rude and condescending. Already at the reception area there is this pervasive smell of mildew (almost sewage like smell) which extended all through the corridors and up the stairs to the rooms. The hotel's decor looks tired... More

I was traveling from Brussels to London, when I made a decision to stop in Bruges, since I have never been before. I am a corporate traveler, so immediately I looked for Marriotts or SPG hotels (where I have loyalty/points), but they don't have any. At first, I was a bit upset, hoping to keep my vacation as low-cost as... More

Stayed one night and felt so lucky this was the hotel we booked. Family run, very clean, excellent beds, very nice bathrooms, parking available, fabulous breakfast and coffee, amazing location. I cannot say enough about what a gem this establishment was. I was there for romance but noticed lots of families with children there as we'll.

this family run hotel which is only a few minutes walk to the main square was a very pleasant surprise on our stay in Bruges. Rooms lovely and clean, but up a flight of stairs, ther is a courtyard entrance to the hotel which when the weather is good makes an ideal place to sit and have that late drink... More

Hotel was clean and very central - only ten minute walk from station and also a few streets away from Main square. The rooms were clean but very cramped. To be honest too much furniture for a very small double room. Double bed, dressing table and chair, two chairs and small table plus a stand alone wardrobe and table for... More

This is a really nice, family run, hotel. We stayed in a basic double room. It was up a couple of flights of stairs (so maybe not ideal for older people) and was small but not cramped. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful in providing tips and... More
