We booked this hotel after reading some good reviews on trip advisor , now wish I hadn't. It was below average, not poor but below average. The water pipes made noises all night had to keep getting up to run taps in bathroom. To stop the noise. Room was on small size, breakfast was basic, in fact very basic .... More

Dear Mark, thank you for your review. We are sorry to read you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. We completely understand that being woken up in the middle of the night because of the water pipes is not a pleasant experience. When you checked out on Tuesday and notified us of this issue, we called in a... More

My family and I stayed at the Cordoeanier May 2015. We had the family room. The hotel was very nice, the staff were attentive, breakfast was suitable, and wifi was excellent in our room. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is very close to the main square of Bruges. Our room faced the street and it was very... More

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cordoeanier! We booked the "Beer in Bruges" package and it was fantastic!!! Location was the best, quiet little street, only 5 minute walk from the main square. Room was very comfortable. The highlight of the package deal was dinner as a lovely little restaurant - 't Gulden Vlies, which included different beers with... More

Fantastic simple hotel in an ideal quiet area of Bruges about a 2 min walk from market square. Fantastic, friendly staff with the best bar in Bruges attached. Will definitely be back. Can't describe just how good the staff are. Sure it's not a five star hotel but I haven't been to a five star with the service that the... More

Stayed 4 nights in this small but elegantly run hotel very near The Markt in the city centre. Staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful and the breakfasts (buffet) set you up for the day (and saved the expense of lunch!). Had a deluxe room on the ground floor which was spacious and spotless and decorated in a... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is excellent for all sightseeing in Bruges. My room on the ground floor was spacious and quiet even though it looked out over the street. The bedding was very basic (felt a bit like a hostel), and the lighting in the room was dim. However, a good breakfast was included and if you... More

We stayed 3 nights in Bruges and this small hotel was just perfect. The location was within minutes of two beautiful squares and restaurants, buses, etc, the rooms were quiet and clean and the breakfasts were wonderful: muesli, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, wonderful types of bread, juices, dried fruit....only thing was that the coffee was so-so. It was not... More

My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Hotel Cordoeanier in Brugge, Belgium. My daughters room was #25 on the third floor, and she felt it was one of the most soothing hotel rooms she has ever stayed in. Mine was #35, and while there was some street noise, all in all it was very comfortable and well appointed.... More

This was our first night in Belgium after a long trip from Portland, OR USA. The room was small, but very quiet and we slept great. The breakfast spread was amazing and the attached Rose Red cafe had a great selection of beer. It was in easy walking distance to the main market and many restaurants and bars

After a lot of research, I settled on Hotel Cordoeanier for our cycle trip from Calais to Bruges (9 people cycled plus 11 support crew!). As it was Pentecoste weekend, all the hotels said it was a minimum of 3 nights booking and this hotel was by far the most reasonably priced. Yes, other reviews are right about the rooms... More
