Our room was in very, very poor cocndition. The carpet was very old and very stained. The walls, etc. were scuffed, stained and in very shabby condition. The sheets were old and yellowed and the pillow was very old and very lumpy. In retrospect, I should have taken it down and turned it in to the owner and explained that... more

We stayed in a double room that was small but clean. The staff was very helpful and the included substantial breakfast carried us through most of the day. We thought the hotel was excellent value and enjoyed the location. The walk from the train station was pleasant and only about 20 mins but we had wheeled suitcases which do not... more

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of April. We had the deal including 2 three course evening meals at the Del Arte Restaurant , a trip to the brewery, a canal trip and entrance to five different museums.Excellent value! We found the beds very comfortable and ok the bathroom is small but that didn't really bother us.... more

The location was great, the service was okay, nothing outgoing, when we asked about restaurants they gave us a couple of names. The rooms were really drab and you could definately hear your neighbor, and the hallways were cold and smelled like sewer. It seems to me that in Brugge you can find a nicer place and the city being so... more

We booked for a short break in December, travelling by train. The hotel was central and easy to find. The room was comfortable and reasonably quiet; most things worked OK. Heating slightly difficult to control and bathroom fairly cramped, but these are minor points. Staff and proprietor welcoming and helpful. Dutch style self service breakfast plentiful and good, hot dishes... more

This is the second time we have stayed at the Cordoeanier and if you like to travel on a fairly tight budget but still stay in nice places then this is the one for you! Literally 2 mins walk from the main market square, good size rooms and bathrooms and great breakfast. We will definately stay here again. more

We stayed at the Hotel Cordoeanier for three nights in late April through early May. It is very charming and the location is fantastic. There is a morning breakfast that was quite nice. A nice touch for us pet owners missing our pooches was the owner's well-behaved lab on premise. It was fun to see all the tourists petting the... more

Hotel was in a great location close to Markt and Burg Square. The hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of food to choose from. The only negative thing I could add was that the walls were thin, but I experienced this in many placed throughout Europe. All in all a... more

The positive remarks others have made about the Cordoeanier really are true. Although our room was small and simple, it was very clean. The heating (radiators) worked well - a must for a trip to Brugge in March. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location can't be beat for a two-star hotel in this price range. We... more
