The Hotel Patritius, an 1830's mansion, is conveniently located on a quiet side street well within walking distance of Markt and Burg Squares. We took the least expensive room so were not surprised that it was small. If we return to Brugge, we would stay here again but go for a larger room. Our room was quiet, rear-facing and overlooking... Stayed at the Patritius before Christmas with our children. It is a small family owned hotel close to the centre but on a quiet side street. We drove our car as it is only just over an hour from Calais. We used the hotel parking which is small so it's recommended to book. It's an ideal base to explore Brugge.... More

There are many good things to say about this hotel. It is in a beautiful old building that is tastefully decorated. It is on a quiet street but within easy walking distance of restaurants and the center of town. The breakfast is ample with varied choices. The coffee machine prepares a good cappuccino. The proprietors who staff the front desk... More

Just loved this hotel! Had the "family room" which was perfect for our family of mom, dad and two college aged kids. Very well appointed room (actually a suite of two connected rooms). Lots of charm and character. Close enough to everything in Brugge (you don't really want to be any closer). Great breakfast and extremely helpful staff!

We have visited Bruges several times and booked our flights for our recent trip way back in July. Being comfortable and familar with the city, I was somewhat nonchalant about our accommodation options - so much so, that our preferred choices were booked out when we tried to make reservations. How lucky was I to come across Hotel Patritius. Because... More

The hotel was recommended by friends. Whilst the room was charming; as indeed was the hotel, I did have a few issues. The bathroom mirror was broken around the edge, which detracted from a tastefully decorated room. The owners were courteous if a little distant. Breakfast was very basic, poor choice of breads and the same three meats and two... More

We stayed here just for the one night during a short break in Bruges. It's a great hotel to be honest and I've stayed in plenty. If this hotel is just over your budget it's worth paying that little bit extra. Spacious clean rooms with friendly staff, there's not much more you could ask for at this place if I'm... More

Very grand Brugge townhouse, boutique style, with lots of charm. Entrance through old coach portal. Small courtyard, nice for the summer. Antique furntiure everywhere and a chandelier in the dining room. Useful lift. Rooms very pretty and bathrooms excellent. Beds a little old. Continental breakfast was very good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Owners friendly and helpful. Ideal location... More

We stayed for one night at Hotel Patritius last weekend whilst we were in Bruges for a couple of days, after extending our stay whilst on a P&O minicruise from Hull! We chose Hotel Patritius based upon reviews written on both Trip advisor and on Booking.com. The reviews did not disappoint. The hotel is excellent and the hotel staff are... More
