We stayed for 3 nights. The owners were very friendly& helpful. We stayed in room 33 that over looked the garden. Spacious room, v comfortable bed & good bathroom with bath. Breakfast in the morning was continental & an excellent selection breads, pastries, ham, cheese & jams etc. Also provided fresh fruit salad, cereal & had a great coffee machine.... More

Very unwelcoming start of a weekend in this hotel. The receptionist was too far from being polite During registration process when she found mistake in booking. 30 minutes lecture describing mistake without any kindness in manners, this is what we get inspite of simple "welcome". Moreover we have been taught half of a second after arrival that we underpaid for... More

i should point out that we had the cheapest room in the hotel so i have not marked the hotel down even though we were right next to a noisy lift and we had to practically shower in the toilet the bathroom was so small. I feel this was reflected in what we paid. The one mattress was very lumpy... More

An old mansion remodeled into a bed and breakfast. Each room has individual character, very clean and has a beer, soda and water mini bar. There is a living room where in the afternoons and early evenings, you can order a beer, wine or cocktail from a selected menu. The breakfast is fabulous and you are asked if you would... More

The Hotel Patritius, an 1830's mansion, is conveniently located on a quiet side street well within walking distance of Markt and Burg Squares. We took the least expensive room so were not surprised that it was small. If we return to Brugge, we would stay here again but go for a larger room. Our room was quiet, rear-facing and overlooking... Stayed at the Patritius before Christmas with our children. It is a small family owned hotel close to the centre but on a quiet side street. We drove our car as it is only just over an hour from Calais. We used the hotel parking which is small so it's recommended to book. It's an ideal base to explore Brugge.... More

There are many good things to say about this hotel. It is in a beautiful old building that is tastefully decorated. It is on a quiet street but within easy walking distance of restaurants and the center of town. The breakfast is ample with varied choices. The coffee machine prepares a good cappuccino. The proprietors who staff the front desk... More

Just loved this hotel! Had the "family room" which was perfect for our family of mom, dad and two college aged kids. Very well appointed room (actually a suite of two connected rooms). Lots of charm and character. Close enough to everything in Brugge (you don't really want to be any closer). Great breakfast and extremely helpful staff!

We have visited Bruges several times and booked our flights for our recent trip way back in July. Being comfortable and familar with the city, I was somewhat nonchalant about our accommodation options - so much so, that our preferred choices were booked out when we tried to make reservations. How lucky was I to come across Hotel Patritius. Because... More

The hotel was recommended by friends. Whilst the room was charming; as indeed was the hotel, I did have a few issues. The bathroom mirror was broken around the edge, which detracted from a tastefully decorated room. The owners were courteous if a little distant. Breakfast was very basic, poor choice of breads and the same three meats and two... More
