This is really a hidden gem. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which has to be the most amazing room that we have ever stayed in! The room was huge with a huge bed and the bathroom was amazing. The service in this hotel is excellent with a great breakfast. You could smell the bacon in the morning -... More

This was a last minute booking for 6 nights and what a great decision to book into here. We arrived by train so got a taxi to the hotel, which is a good idea with baggage. Only cost around 7.50 Euro so was worth it. It can be walked in around 20-25 minutes but with cases, definitely jump in a... More

From the moment you step inside Hotel Jan Brito, there is a wonderful feeling of relaxation and attentiveness to your every care. The staff of the Jan Brito was incredible at every moment, so friendly, well versed in travelers needs and what Brugge has to offer. We arrived in the evening and most restaurants were closed, but Marcus at the... More

Me and my partner returned to Hotel Jan Brito for two nights at the beginning of our trip around Belgium and the Netherlands and I'm happy to stay that it was a fantastic start to our holiday. The lovely room and comfortable bed were a relief after a hard days exploring (as was the hotel bar). The beautiful decor and... More

We only went for a short break, but crammed in quite a lot (including bike hire from the hotel to travel a bit further afield). It was wonderful coming back tired and happy, usually after a few Belgian beers, to this timeless and lovingly restored hotel each day with staff always being very welcoming and helpful. Our room was in... More

We spent two days and two nights in Bruges. This hotel is a very nice city hotel. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Everything right in the middle of the city center. All major historical sites are reachable by foot.

Nice, charming hotel in a good location. Delightful rooms with very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Car park was 5 mins walk. Dogs not allowed in dining room or bar, but there was a small park just down the road for a quick stroll with a nice outside bar nearby. Dining room felt a little cramped but it was peak... More

What a pleasure it was to stay here! Everything about our stay was just perfect. The room was great (after finding out that Eurostar hadn't told the hotel we wanted a twin room, not double and ended up upgrading). We sat in the garden three evenings with our very reasonably priced drinks from the hotel bar. The staff were so... More

Friendly, attentive staff; close to the centre, but in a quiet road; clean & comfortable room; good selection of breakfast foods & drinks; very reasonable bar prices for wine & beer; lovely garden for relaxation. The only negative is also a positive !! It's a very old building, which is why it's so charming. However, be prepared for squeaky floorboards,... More

Our stay in this hotel was a unique experience! Although it is renovated and provides a luxurious standard, it still has the atmosphere of the old times. It is romantic and elegant. Its location is perfect and everything is accessible on foot. The breakfast was great, the staff really helpful and the service provided was what one expects from a... More
