We stayed at the Jacobs Hotel this weekend, sadly for one night only. With the help of a parking permit (which had to be adjusted every 4 hours) we parked free for the weekend right outside the hotel. The hotel was very pleasant, and good value in a relatively expensive city. The room we were in was small, and would... More

A small hotel about a 10 minute walk from the main market square. The room was a good size and clean. The tv was fixed to the wall and not on a flexible arm mount so viewing was awkward. The breakfast was good with a plentiful choice. Staff on the whole were helpful but not always well informed about attractions.... More

Stayed here Nov 20th to the 22nd. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions very well. The breakfast was good for us, they had cold meats, cheese, eggs, toast, cereals, pancakes, etc. The hotel is a five minute walk to the main square but it is in a... More

well! where do I begin? I stayed here with three friends assuring them that this was a charming, cosy, typical example of a family run Belgian hotel and they would surely like it so much they would definitely come back with their wives! Oh dear, not a cat in hells chance. I first stayed here in 1979 and was stunned with... More

The hotel is simple & clean, staff are pleasant and the variety offered at Breakfast was good. The Hotel is in a great place, in a quiet street to the North of Old Bruges and a great base to see Bruges - the various short walks that can be taken into the town offer a variety of perspectives on Bruges,... My fiance and I stayed for 3 nights in November and were very happy with the hotel. Great location, around a 10 minute amble to the centre of Bruges. The staff were great, prior to arrival they were helpful in emailing us directions from the train station and an approximate cost of a taxi. Due to an unforeseen train delay... More

The hotel with soul. Stayed there for a couple of nights and not forget for a long time. About one km. from the city centre, opposite to church, good accommodated with medieval climate of beautiful city of Bruges. Not expensive. Nice, comfortable rooms, decent service and soul breathing view through the window. Highly recommend.

Good value for money, clean and comfortable rooms and very well located. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. The hotel does have parking but it is street parking and you need to return to your car at least every 4 hours to 'refresh' your permit. This was not a big problem for us but if you are taking your... More

The rooms were very clean and refreshed daily. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. It's a short walk to all the sights. The breakfast was above and beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Don't get me wrong, it is not a fabulous hotel, but it is very good for the money. It is any easy walk to tourist destinations but in a quiet location...great for sleeping. The rooms are clean, albeit worn carpet. Nice TV...wifi spotty, at least for the time I was there. The bathrooms are large and there is a lift.... More
