We arrived around 6pm and were assigned our rooms - our travel companion's room had not been cleaned since the previous guests left that day! My husband and I had booked a double bed but ended up with twin beds and were told rather curtly by the staff that it was not their problem and nothing could be done. This... More

My friends and I stayed at the Hotel de Goezeput for three nights. The hotel is located near the town centre and you can reach it from the Central station on foot in 10 minutes. The hotel itself must have been an old townhouse that was renovated, so that it has a lot of character. The room was wonderful!!! Spacious,... More

Although the Hotel de Goezeput will not be everyone’s cup of tea for us it was perfect. Location wise the hotel is situated on a quiet street (Goezeputstraat) which is only a simple 10 minute walk from the railway station and only about 5 minutes walk to the centre of Bruges providing a great base to explore from. The location... More

Couldn't have asked for a better location - a little side street right in the heart of the historic centre of Bruges. A 2 minute walk took you right to Holy Saviour Cathedral (Sint-Salvatorskathedraal) which was stunning. We arrived almost 2 hours before official check in time but this was not a problem, room was ready so we could just... More

If you come out the front of the train station into the square and walk straight up Oostmeers Street you will be at the hotel in an easy 15 minutes. The hotel is very well situated on a quiet back street but extremely close to the centre. We have an attic room and kept the window closed (as I am... More

Lovely two night stay here. Good location, walked up from train station (15 mins) and five minutes' walk from centre. Big, big triple room (#7 I think) with en-suite bathroom, clean and comfortable and great wooden floors (no dusty carpet blues here!). Windows looked out onto street but no noise problems in this street. Breakfast served 8.30-10:30, large selection of... More

The stay was less pleasant than it should have been. Overall our trip was spoiled by the hotel. However, I'll start off with the positives. The staff are friendly and speak English well (like everyone in brugges). The building is lovely; traditional style with a wooden staircase and exposed beams aplenty. The location is prefect, a quiet backstreet with no... More

First, the positive comments about this hotel. Situated equal distance between the main train station and city centre, you could reach the hotel in about 10 minutes' walk with luggage. Going to the city centre is a breeze. Staff at counter is friendly and helpful. The negative is, as with all hotels in the old city, don't expect lifts. Hence,... More

I really have no complaints with this hotel, except there was no air conditioning. Normally, I don't think this would be a problem but it was really warm when we were there. The hotel was in a great location, was very clean & tidy, and had a nice breakfast offering.
