We caught a train to Bruges from Amsterdam and stayed at the hotel with our two adult daughters for 3 nights in December 2014. Manager Rick was charming and extremely helpful on where to go and his tips on restaurants. On his recommendation had an amazing dish of mussels at "de Schilder" restaurant nearby. Hotel was lovely and clean and... More

Wonderful, charming, hotel on a canal a short walk from the city center. Staff was great, friendly, and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Stayed in room 2 which we were initially worried about because it's on the ground floor facing the street, but this turned out to not be an issue. Found it to be very quiet. Bed was... More

My wife & I stayed 6 days at the Adornes during the Christmas Holidays. We found the hotel to be charming with old exposed oaken beams in the rooms, super clean rooms, free breakfast, in-room wifi, secure underground parking, and a staff that spoke English as well as other languages. The big draw was the location - 5 min. walk... More

A typical Rick Steves hotel, centrally located close to all the action, clean and sometimes a bit quirky. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel had free Wifi, but mostly just in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Hotel is a combination of at least two different buildings and the corridors and back stairs are a bit quirky but... More

We had a wonderful stay here recently. Rik and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only 5 minutes from the centre of town it was handily placed after a day of walking and sightseeing. The room was spacious, warm and importantly these days had free WiFi. Breakfast was included and plentiful, including a chocolate baby figurine.... More

From the minute of our arrival, we were greeted by one of the most friendly and helpful staff (RIk) that we have ever encountered. He asked a couple questions and off he went telling us where to go, what to see and most important where to have a beer break. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast excellent. What more... More

We found this hotel in Rick Steves book while driving from Amsterdam and are glad we did. A very comfortable hotel in a great location; just minutes from city center. The rooms are the largest we found in our two weeks in Scandanavia and Holland. The front desk is a delight in terms of helping one decide where to eat... More

Stayed at the Adornes for 4 nights in cold December. Staff excellent (friendly and helpful - e.g. a 'personalised' map with places to see and things to do during the 4 days). Room 15 on the top floor was large with a great view over the nearby canals and was really warm, just what was needed!. Beds comfortable. Everything very... More

My partner and I booked the Adornes after poring over the many options in Bruges - and we are so pleased that we chose to stay here. We stayed for three nights, and were upgraded to a fantastic top-floor room with a canal view for free, as the hotel was so quiet at the time we stayed. The room was... More

My husband and I saw this little hotel, with it's perfect location, just 10 minutes walk from the centre, whilst walking around Bruges on a previous visit to the city. It was so cosy, relaxed & welcoming there, The friendly lady on reception had lived in the city all of her life, and was very informative on both the history... More
