We wanted somewhere with character (ie not an international chain), quiet location but in the City Centre, that wouldn't break the bank. This scored on all counts. Thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. Close to the centre of Brugge. Room large and comfortable. You must try the local tavern "Terrastje". My husband and I stayed in Hotel Bryghia for 2 nights with our 15 year old son. The hotel is in a quiet location with a 7-10 minute walk to the main square (Markt). The hotel itself was very clean and the room was very large. We were on the 4th floor and relied on the lifts quite a bit.... more
