We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The hotel is charming and located in a quiet street in Brugge a few minutes away from the main square. We had a warm welcome and stayed in Room 10 on the second floor. Although the room was small, it was tastefully decorated and had modern... More

This small family managed hotel is an outstanding base to explore Bruggy. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a historirical residence and hospitality of the owners. They offer only breakfast but give you many very good tips where to go for dinner. Breakfast tastefull, good choice and fresh juice. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall great stay in wonderfull town.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and were given a friendly welcome and helpful directions to the car park ( where they had reserved a space for us), and we were given lots of information and a map of the area. The room was large and comfortable, with a beamed ceiling and amazing bathroom! Breakfast was continental, in... More

My husband and I stayed in Bruges for only one day and stayed the night at this cute B&B. The ladies behind the desk are great at orienting you to the city when you check-in, and its location is great for the price. The room was clean, but a little small, while the bathroom was well-stocked and quite spacious. The... More

What an exceptional hotel (B&B). Received the warmest of welcomes and kindest offer of assistance and recommendations for visiting Bruges. Perfect accommodations for my "solo trip". Hotel is perfectly situated for easy walking access to just about anywhere (train station is about a 10 min ride by taxi and less than 10 euros). Can't wait to bring my kids to... More

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The welcoming and service was exceptional and the room simply sublime. The room was very large and the bathroom had a floor to ceiling stained glass window which gave the whole room lots of character and charm. The hotel was central and we were made to... More

My wife and I stayed at the Karel de Stoute (Charles the Great) for four nights at the beginning of May. We arrived in Brugge by train and took a taxi which cost 9 euro. If you have limited luggage and are fairly fit you can walk in about 20 minutes It is a small family run hotel situated in... More

A great hotel, set in a quiet neighbourhood just 5 minutes walk to the Bell tower and all the shops. Stayed here with my wife for two nights. The hotel owners (mother and son), couldn't do enough for us, providing maps and business cards for local restaurants etc. We were in a room at the back of the hotel, and... More

A quiet little hotel close to the centre of Brugge. We walked to everything. As others have mentioned the personal service from the owners is quite special. Our room was clean and comfortable while a little tired. Breakfast was included and was served in a beautiful room again with lovely personal service. The stairs to our room on the second... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. It is well located on a quiet street a short walk from the Markt and an easy walk to everything to see in Bruges.
