Snuffel backpacker hostel was a great hostel in brugge. Brand new. Everything was spotless and perfectly clean. Rooms were huge. Lockers in the room were super nice as well as the lockers you can use downstairs after you check out. Nicest city map I've ever gotten from a hostel. Also one of the staff members mapped out a nice walking... More

Stayed two nights. Great hostel the most social I've been to in Europe great for meeting fellow travellers as a solo backpacker. The bar is awsome and always busy! Free walking tour as well which is helpful to meet people. Few minor negatives which stop it getting 5*s, breakfast although free is very basic (toast or cereal) and the check... More

Very confortable, clean and modern hostel. You can use your card key to enter 24/7 to your rooms and lockers. Snuffel Hostel is near the center and in a good street. The atmosphere is good an friendly. It has a bar were you can buy quality or cheap beer.

The hostel is brilliantly located, around 5-7 minutes from the main square. As it is a new site the jostle is modern and very clean, with a large decent prices bar. Wifi was good up in our room on the first floor, plugs on top bunks and the rooms were spacious. However lots of little things took away from the... More

I stayed in a twin room on my own in June 2015, and the room was very clean and spacious. You pay €5 deposit for your linen, and €5 deposit for the keys to lockers in the room. If you want to use a towel there is a cost of €1, and a €5 deposit also. They recently moved to... More

Snuffle has everything that makes it a good backpackers' hostel - good location, reasonable pricing, spacious well-ventilated rooms, clean beds, good spread of breakfast in the morning, lockers, wifi and even a cosy bar for backpackers to mingle. The staff were also very friendly offering you tips on places to visit in Bruges and free maps. Only problem is that... More

I stayed here in July 2014 and I have to say it was a pleasant stay. Its located close to the sights of bruges, there is also a bus stop right outside and a bike hire place. So there is always something to do and somewhere to go. Rooms are basic, but do the trick. Beds are comfortable, fresh bedding... More

The Snuffel is in a great location and has brand new facilities. They've moved just down the road and haven't put a sign up on their new building yet, so it's quite confusing to find. I really found the customer service at the Snuffel average - the staff were more interested in serving at the bar and chatting to the... More

For a hostel it was exactly what we wanted. Cheap clean beds, helpful and knowledgable staff, breakfast in the morning, free walking tours, social common area, easy to get to by car or foot, convenient location for tourist attractions, and wifi is included (though hit or miss when not in the common areas). I was impressed with the staff, very... More

Being that they just moved into a new space --it's hard to judge; but even so it was a good experience. Staff was super friendly and hospitable. Lots of hard surfaces make everything louder than it should be--to the point where I can hear someone opening the door down the hall. Showers were terrible, but I havent really liked any... More
