I stayed at Snuffel for 4 nights and it is a great hostel. The bar has a great atmosphere and is a great place to meet locals and socialize and find out more about the city, the rooms are very clean, warm and a good place too meet new people. Staff were friendly, helpful and will get you any information... More

I really enjoyed this hostel! I'll be honest, I first chose it for the name, it's just cute. The hostel was great. The room was up some pretty windy steep stairs and the beds were a bit old, but it was cosy. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The showers were not good. I was only here for one night... More

The guy at the reception bluntly told us they had changed our reservation with no further explanation or apology whatsoever so they split us up in different rooms. Other than the rude staff, it was a bit too pricey for what it was. Only the bar was really cheap and had a wide range of Belgian beers.

I was travelling alone over Christmas and I stayed at this place for just one night. The guy on the desk was the sweetest hostel receptionist I have ever met. Inside it was cosy and small, with a clean and functional kitchen. It had a lovely, cosy atmosphere. The showers were a bit hilarious but nevertheless they were warm, clean... More

Myself and three friends visited fabulous Bruges just before Christmas and paid EUR20 each to stay at Snuffel and we were well happy with the welcome and the accomodation. Obviously this is a hostel so not the best standard of hotel i've ever stayed in but for the price, all was acceptable. As a group of guys travelling for a... More

We stayed here for 4 nights (Tuesday-Friday), and cancelled our booking on the Saturday night as we could not stand it anymore. Firstly, as many reviews say, the showers. Located outside the courtyard and into a separate building. To receive luke warm water, you have to pull a chain and keep pulling it to keep the water running. Very poor!... More

The staff were really friendly and the location was great. But the layout of the hostel kinda sucked. Stairs were too narrow and windy to carry your bags up. Beds were ok. Only 1 toilet on each floor but no sink. So if you need to pee in the middle of the night you have to use sink in the... More

Cannot fault the staff here, so helpful, very friendly and will do anything for you. The room was a bit cramped and we were in the bunk beds that were beside the internal door to reach the next room which was a bit loud but thats what you get when you book last minute. No lockers in the room but... More

Stayed here for two nights with a group of friends. The hostel is a 5 minute walk to the city center, so very convenient. Free parking is available close to the hostel. Staff was friendly and helpful, there's a bar with lots of different low priced Belgian beers and crowds of guests and locals at night. Our rooms (one ensuite,... More

We stayed at snuffel for one night, and really enjoyed it. Super easy to find, the owner is what makes the experience. He's very helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was basic but good. Beds are very comfy, sinks and a toilet close by. Only things that are slightly awkward are that the showers are down stairs and out the courtyard, and... More
