Wonderful hotel, Fabulous room overlooking canal. Even the quality of the breakfast surpassed my expectations! I booked through the Telegraph with a company called Leisure Direction and was the first time I'd used them or even heard of them. The package included little extra's like a free box of chocolates in Brugge, and guide book which definately added value. The... More

Me and my patner stayed in the 'Hotel Ter Brughe on the 09th Oct for 3 nights. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried about the hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely and the room was the biggest room in the hotel which was a bonus. The hotel had everything we needed and... More

We have just returned from a weekend away at this hotel, and we too were a little apprehensive after reading some of these reviews. I am happy to say that we did not experience any such problems. The hotel is fantastic; really old and quaint. It's a bit creaky, I grant you, but that's to be expected in an old... More

we have just returned from this hotel and had a fantastic time. the room was large, clean and had a beautifull en suit with twin basins. we hired a private garage witch seemed a little expensive but with the streets been very narrow and busy this was a peace of mind that the car was safe. all the steff were... Having just booked with the same offer as a previous reviewer through The Times I was very nervous about what I was going to get at the Ter Brugge, especially as we were travelling first class on Eurostar. The hotel is fine. No it's not your luxury all singing all dancing 4 star but it is friendly and welcoming and... More

This property was booked through Leisure Direction following a promotion in the London Times newspaper. While making the booking we specifically sought a four star property - and paid the additional premium for doing so. Leisure Direction advised that the Hotel Ter Brughe was the property applicable to the Times promotion. A four night booking was made for several days... More

My husband and I stayed in this lovely hotel and have recommended it to all of our friends traveling to Brugges. It is conveniently located and very attractive. The rooms were large and comfortable and the breakfast (included) was the best we encountered on our trip. You can't go wrong by staying here.

My wife and I have just returned from Bruges. We stayed in the Ter Brughe hotel which was perfectly adequate and extremely quiet. The view out of our canalside window was lovely, and the rooms were clean and tidy. A very relaxing stay! and only 5 minutes from the Market Square. (Note: No need to walk even that far for... More

We have just returned from a stay at the Ter Brughe. This is a very pleasant hotel, full of character (wooden beams in the bedroom), with very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast served in a lovely medieval former cellar and in a quiet and attractive part of the town, yet within a few minutes walk of the centre.... We have recently returned from a trip to Bruges and stayed in this hotel. I was worried about some of the reviews, but I took into consideration the most recent ones. We were not disappointed. We book a triple room (husband, myself and our 4 year old). It was on the top floor, they had warned us about the many... More
