If you are travelling to Brugge, this is a wonderful hotel. Stylishly decorated, the family rooms are spacious with beautiful bathrooms. There is a bar open until midnight for that last drink or coffee before bed and the hotel has an outdoor area. Breakfast was well prepared and stocked - no disappointment there. Be aware that the hotel does not... more

It was our first time time in Bruges and we were a little unsure of what to expect, however, when the taxi dropped up off outside the beautiful Hotel Ter Brughe we were very happy. It is a beautiful old building beside a canal. We had room 61, on the forth floor which was quite a climb up the creaky... more

Pleasant Hotel situated on a canal side only ten minutes walk from the centre of Bruge. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and informative. Breakfast served in a cellar room. Breakfast juice was very tasteless/cheap. When asked if I could use an iron was told the Hotel did not have an iron for use by guests. ** Hotel does not... more

Really enjoyed staying here. Had the attic room for 4 (a last minute booking) but would book a canal view room lower down next time as the attic has a bit of an obscured view of the canal, however it is a quiet room which is a major plus. The room was vast with 2 huge beds - had the... more

I stayed at the Ter Brughe with my partner as a surprise birthday present for him. Nice quaint, charming hotel loocated on the canal. Bedroom and bathroom basic but adequate for our needs as we were out and about sight seeing most of the time. Our room looked out to the next building which was approx 10 foot away, so... more

Thats what my partner said within hours of arriving which of course was music to my ears. This really is a lovely laid back and atmospheric place to stay in whilst in this beautiful place. I did upgrade to a superior canal view room and feel that this decision was rewarded as we loved everything about it. Breakfast is adequate... more

Hotel ter Brughe is a well-maintained old property next to a beautiful canal, off the beaten track in a quiet neighborhood. Our room, like most of the rooms, overlooked the water. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, and served in a lovely medieval cellar with more windows overlooking the canal. Except for the... more

After bookin through First Choice/ Superbreak we arrived to be told that the accomadation was full and there was no reservation made for us!!!! The manager let us stay in his own rented house for the night as he could see how disappointed we were and it was valentines weekend!!! The second night the manager gave us room 40 which... more

The first night, at around 21.30, we came back to find a nasty smell of sewage in the bathroom. The hotel told us it was because "the water in the U-bends had evaporated, and if we ran all the taps and flushed the loo it would go away." We were not happy with this but decided to give it a... more

Hotel Ter Bruges is located 5 minutes walk from Bruge's main square and 30-40 minutes walk from the train station but only a short taxi ride away. It is nestled in a picturesque, quiet cobbled street, overlooking a canal and oozes character and charm. Like much of Bruges, it gives a sense of well preserved history; the antique furnishings and... more
