After reading other reviews and looking on the website, I thought this would be a good hotel for me, however, either the reviewers who praised this hotel don't expect much or they had a better quality room than I had. Beware of the policies of this hotel too. Upon arrival at this hotel, I was told how to get to... More

This hotel was recommended by a friend. The description in one guide book was "big and basic". Well, I believe there are 26 rooms...not too big in my opinion, and our room was smallish, but not at all basic. I am currently sitting on the bed in my charmingly pretty room with high wooden beamed ceilings, wainscoting, wooden armoire, fireplace... More

Had a room right on the canal - could watch the swans and ducks in the morning and evening and the boats all day! (Might not be the room for anyone concerned with privacy!) The location was great and it was much quieter than the other hotel we stayed in Bruges. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.... More

Had a perfect stay here! The location is ideal, right on the canal, a 2 minute walk from the mrkt with all sorts of shops n restaurants on the way. Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, easy check in/out. Big tip: there're a few rooms ON the canal, but the best one is the honeymoon suite (it's the little white room... More

The hotel was under repair while we recently stayed. I would have appreciated knowing that this was going to be the case, but that said, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom that we had which was room 111 has a bathroom that was added to the room and it looked to be similar to the size of a bathroom found... More

Was a nice situated hotel, 5 min walk to centre. Bathroom was small. Bruges is a very scenic and interesting place. Make sure you go on a boat trip, lasted about 30 minutes and was 7 euro. Make sure you eat at Ribs n Beer, absolutely gorgeous food. Loads of shops, especially chocolate ones.

We did not expect the great room we had. In the official photo above, we were at the window at the extreme left (of the grey buildings) at canal level. If one sat in the window alcove reading, one received waves from the tour boats passing a few meters away. (We jokingly discussed - but did not execute - walking... More

The reviews were a bit mixed so was prepared for disappointment but couldn't have been more wrong - this is a gem of a hotel! The location is perfect, staff helpful, breakfasts amazing. Rooms were basic but comfortable, lovely big bathroom with hot power shower, fresh towels daily. Wi-fi worked perfectly, lovely courtyard overlooking canal for guests to use, vending... More

This is the 4th hotel I have stayed in whilst in Bruges and was the best by far. Location is excellent, simply laid out but really very nice. Would definitely recommend a canal view room. I usually turn my nose up at the prospect of paying extra for a view but in this case it was absolutely justified. I only... More
