Hotel staff were brilliant upon arrival and we're very accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was a decent size, with a very comfy bed and a great view of the canal. However the only drawback is the size of the bathroom....tiny. It would suit one person however for two people you need to be very comfortable with each other. If... More

The hotel is central enough, being less than a five minute walk into the main square. It's clean and tidy and the breakfast was good. Under ground parking was a two minute walk away, where the car stayed for the two days/nights we stayed. This cost 16 euros. Over I shall be recommending this hotel as a bag in place... More

This hotel is at best a hostel.there is not a bathroom it is a cubical in which there is a toilet sink and shower in less than 2 square meters which it makes it hard to do anything. Did not speak so could not tell if friendly or not bed was comfortable but other hotels looked better for similar prices

Our room was very different from American standards. Not bad, just different. The room kind of smelled moldy or like a sewer drain. Not overwhelming but noticeable. The room was large enough. There was no shower, just a large tub with a hand held shower nozzle. That would not be bad but this was a dormer room and even me... More

I have stayed at this location on many visits to Bruges. I have always found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is very relaxed and easy going with good strong coffee (just what you need after an evening of Belgium beers). The location is excellent you are just a few mins walk from... More

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night during a business trip. Was told at check-in I got upgraded (result!) to a room on the courtyard. It was indeed very spacious, even the bathroom was quite large with a bathtub. The hotel is close to the centre of town, the staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet even has fresh warm... More

PRO: - location on canal -- the window for our room was about 1 metre above the canal level. Swans swim by. Picturesque stone bridges abound. - rooms were adequate size; beds comfortable. Good reading light above bed (very important!) - friendly staff - great breakfasts with everything: cereals, croissants, eggs, cheese, bread, meat, yoghurt, juice, coffee, pancakes/crepes, waffles. What... More

I stayed here with a friend on a girls weekend away, and have to say I really liked this hotel. It's certainly not 5* , but it was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and unlike some of the other reviewers who complained about small en suites, ours was enormous! The... More

We stayed in the (junior / honeymoon) suite, an absolutely amazing room in its own little building (former summerhouse I think) right on the canal. The suite has a full size shower room which is also right on the canal. During the day if you stand at the window you get the tour boats going right past waving at you!... More

The major gripe with this hotel is the bathrooms. They are tiny, I mean really TINY, and not very private. They seem to be manufactured by the same people who make airplane toilets; plastic moulded, and not enough room to stretch out my arms. The door is not-existent, instead there is a pair of saloon type swing doors, with gaps... More
