An unbelievable value for the view. The hotel is right on a canal which makes for some spectacular views. Our room was on the second floor and it was amazing to sit in the window at night and watch the sun set and the swans swim by, a truly exceptional experience and a bargain when compared to other hotels with... This hotel is in a great location on the canals, only a short walk (5 mins) from the main square and all the pubs and shops. Free breakfast was great, staff were helpful, wifi was good, everything was clean. Very happy with everything and would definitely stay again.

Great Place to stay, comfortable room with a very good breakfast. Tiled floor was a bit cold could do with some floor rugs otherwise very romantic. Room and bathroom is a good size, and very quiet. A short walk into the main town with lots of eating places nearby,

We visited a bit further back than August 2014, but thought it needed my review My boyfriend and I visited for a birthday weekend and chose this hotel as it was fairly cheap and central. We chose the honeymoon suite as it wasn't much more expensive than a standard room. Bruges is fairly tricky to navigate round when you first... More

One must take into consideration the age of the building, because an en-suite bathroom in each room clearly did not exist in that time. So, the tiny cruise ship-styled bathroom in the room is something to be understood. That being said, one can't really get s more charming view than what we had in room 11. The swans, ducks &... We liked the location of this hotel. We also liked the room right on the canal. The bathroom was small and really not private. It had swinging doors, like in a saloon. I think it would have been better if there had actually been a door. But, for a two night stay, it was fine. The staff were helpful. We... More

If you book this hotel it's OK, it's not a bad hotel at all, it's just OVERPRICED for what it really is!! After staying there I don't recommend this hotel and here is why- I'm a budget traveler, so I could be ok with something less (and I could be ok with this hotel level if it was half the... More

Check in was simple, internet connect cheap and fast downloading. Breakfast very nice. Quiet room which has been newly refurbished. A pleasant 5 minute walk to the market square and famous belltower. Comfortable bedding, clean facilties. Boutique decor. Great value for money.

Canalview Hotel Ter Reien is ideally situated right on the canal. Our small room had a window that literally opened onto the water. It was fun to sit by the window, watching canal tour boats go by (every other minute in the afternoon). The hotel is a short walk to the 2 main squares, Burg and Markt. The room was... More

The location of this hotel is really good you can walk everywhere and the breakfast was nice enough however there were plastic sling doors on the tiny shower room which meant no privacy!! Also we had a canal view which was great but only curtain on windows so had to close them to use the toilet. Extremely strict about not... More
