One must take into consideration the age of the building, because an en-suite bathroom in each room clearly did not exist in that time. So, the tiny cruise ship-styled bathroom in the room is something to be understood. That being said, one can't really get s more charming view than what we had in room 11. The swans, ducks &... We liked the location of this hotel. We also liked the room right on the canal. The bathroom was small and really not private. It had swinging doors, like in a saloon. I think it would have been better if there had actually been a door. But, for a two night stay, it was fine. The staff were helpful. We... More

If you book this hotel it's OK, it's not a bad hotel at all, it's just OVERPRICED for what it really is!! After staying there I don't recommend this hotel and here is why- I'm a budget traveler, so I could be ok with something less (and I could be ok with this hotel level if it was half the... More

Check in was simple, internet connect cheap and fast downloading. Breakfast very nice. Quiet room which has been newly refurbished. A pleasant 5 minute walk to the market square and famous belltower. Comfortable bedding, clean facilties. Boutique decor. Great value for money.

Canalview Hotel Ter Reien is ideally situated right on the canal. Our small room had a window that literally opened onto the water. It was fun to sit by the window, watching canal tour boats go by (every other minute in the afternoon). The hotel is a short walk to the 2 main squares, Burg and Markt. The room was... More

The location of this hotel is really good you can walk everywhere and the breakfast was nice enough however there were plastic sling doors on the tiny shower room which meant no privacy!! Also we had a canal view which was great but only curtain on windows so had to close them to use the toilet. Extremely strict about not... More

The only good thing about this hotel is breakfast and location... The room was poor, the shower room was very poor, it was very tiny, with no room to swing a cat. The bed was uncomfortable. There was a charge for tea and coffee facilities.

Stayed in this little hotel a few weeks ago. We are no strangers to Brugge, and had seen this little hotel on our previous visits, so thought this time we would stay there, as it always looked so good when we walked past. Firstly, we were greeted by a young man on reception who treated us as nothing more than... More

a fantastic budget hotel, comfortable, clean room, bathroom very small and not much privacy, but as a married couple it didn't bother us! Good continental breakfast plenty of choice and freshly made rolls (we saw them being made!) Very good location, about 5 mins from the main square, the map given was useful but you soon find your way around. The... More

Hotel was clean and convenient to all the attractions of this wonderful city of Bruges. It is beautifully situated along one of the the main canals. I can recommend it for a nice short holiday. The hotel is economical, offers a nice breakfast buffet and on the whole is quiet and peaceful. The canal tour boats pass by during the... More
