PRO: - location on canal -- the window for our room was about 1 metre above the canal level. Swans swim by. Picturesque stone bridges abound. - rooms were adequate size; beds comfortable. Good reading light above bed (very important!) - friendly staff - great breakfasts with everything: cereals, croissants, eggs, cheese, bread, meat, yoghurt, juice, coffee, pancakes/crepes, waffles. What... More

I stayed here with a friend on a girls weekend away, and have to say I really liked this hotel. It's certainly not 5* , but it was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and unlike some of the other reviewers who complained about small en suites, ours was enormous! The... More

We stayed in the (junior / honeymoon) suite, an absolutely amazing room in its own little building (former summerhouse I think) right on the canal. The suite has a full size shower room which is also right on the canal. During the day if you stand at the window you get the tour boats going right past waving at you!... More

The major gripe with this hotel is the bathrooms. They are tiny, I mean really TINY, and not very private. They seem to be manufactured by the same people who make airplane toilets; plastic moulded, and not enough room to stretch out my arms. The door is not-existent, instead there is a pair of saloon type swing doors, with gaps... More

After reading other reviews and looking on the website, I thought this would be a good hotel for me, however, either the reviewers who praised this hotel don't expect much or they had a better quality room than I had. Beware of the policies of this hotel too. Upon arrival at this hotel, I was told how to get to... More

This hotel was recommended by a friend. The description in one guide book was "big and basic". Well, I believe there are 26 rooms...not too big in my opinion, and our room was smallish, but not at all basic. I am currently sitting on the bed in my charmingly pretty room with high wooden beamed ceilings, wainscoting, wooden armoire, fireplace... More

Had a room right on the canal - could watch the swans and ducks in the morning and evening and the boats all day! (Might not be the room for anyone concerned with privacy!) The location was great and it was much quieter than the other hotel we stayed in Bruges. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.... More

Had a perfect stay here! The location is ideal, right on the canal, a 2 minute walk from the mrkt with all sorts of shops n restaurants on the way. Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, easy check in/out. Big tip: there're a few rooms ON the canal, but the best one is the honeymoon suite (it's the little white room... More

The hotel was under repair while we recently stayed. I would have appreciated knowing that this was going to be the case, but that said, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom that we had which was room 111 has a bathroom that was added to the room and it looked to be similar to the size of a bathroom found... More
