The hotel is fine, clean, basically a business hotel, but it’s the location that’s a pain. The 30 minute walk to town is actually more like 45 to the centre. Plus, the area around the hotel isn’t too nice, not unsafe just industrial. The hotel has a ‘deal’ with a taxi firm where the hotel sells you a coupon for... more

Not a bad hotel by any means but just a little bit far from the centre for walking to & from. They did a great taxi voucher (Eur14 return) which was used on the evening & worked well. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that. We did hire bikes from the hotel and cycled to Damme &... more

Sorry I did not get to write this review sooner, but since I know how useful it is maybe will be of some help to the Trip Advisor fans. We stayed here last year in May - 22nd -27nd. The hotel is at 15 minutes of walk from the center of the city, but you will not feel the distance.... more

We had some teething problems when arrived and these were:- (1) Difficult to find hotel (2) We were requested to pay parking fee of 9 euros a night. When we booked, our travel agent had checked with hotel and was told that parking was free. Later on checking our holiday booking details we rturned to reception and this charge was... more

The hotel is pleasant and modern and looks like it's more geared for business with free wifi throughout which is really handy. Everything is as you'd expect, helpful staff, clean and huge beds. Turned out to be very good value for money. Only downsides were that its about a 30 minute walk from the city centre. Which is easy enough... more

What a little gem of a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful room and amazing staff at this hotel. We called from the train station to get additional directions and the staff recommended a taxi service that they have an agreement with who picked us up at the train and took us to the hotel for 10 Euro.... more

Hotel was pretty good for the bargain price. Half an hour wander into town was OK and gave us the opportunity to stop for coffee or Crepe's on the way into town on a morning! 9 euro's a day parking hurt lots though as the hotel is in the middle of a safe area where the car could be parked... more

First of all be warned, hotel is NOT in downtown Bruges. So if you want to stay right next to City Hall, book something different and, of course, at different rate. If you do not mind walking about 30 min each way (I did not!) and looking for quite, clean, comfortable place to stay at very reasonable rate, then Apollo... more

The Apollo Arthotel is definitely out of the town centre!!! We love walking and did the walk a few times... but it is definitely quite a hike into town. The bus can be caught near the hotel, but we usually decided to walk rather than wait. The one issue we had was that you had to walk though a park... more

What a miserable establishment. We went to Bruges for a Christmas weekend, when we arrived we thought the place was closing down, full of old boxes with junk in them. Arr, this was an art exhibition, should have figured that out.!! What there was not.....any sign of Christmas, nothing, whilst the rest of Bruge was bustling with fun, lights and Christmas... more
