I booked the Hotel Floris, after doing extensive research, but arrived to find out they had overbooked TWENTY rooms and had relocated everybody to other hotels. It was our misfortune to be relocated to the Lace Hotel, which was right in the Old Town, but had all the outside cafes and bars directly in front of the window. Although assured... More

First the good points. The rooms are nicely furnished/decorated in a modern style and the continental style breakfast is diverse and well stocked. The hotel is reasonably centrally located. Not so good. The bathroom has an ill-fitting sliding door which is not good for privacy. The wi-fi is not available in the rooms but only downstairs in the lobby and... More

Arrived in Bruges at about 12:30 & thought we would see if we could check in. Helpful staff checked us straight into the suite 102 that we had booked for our honeymoon, which was a modern four poster room with a sizeable shower room set up with disabled access. The double bed was two singles pushed together and the wall... More

We booked a 3 night package through a company, hotel and ferry, very reasonably priced so we weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived we found an underground car park right near the hotel, €8.70 per day. When we arrived it was about 3.30pm and our room wasn't quite ready however we only had to wait 10 mins and... The hotel was comfortable though diffiuclt to find. The reception was un-attended though if you rang the bell then someone did appear. Room was clean, two single beds pushed together and sold as a double room. The noise at night was terrrible resulting in very lttle sleep, the three nights we stayed the noise went on unitl 5am. Breakfast was... More

I was visiting Bruges on a mixture of both business and leisure and opted to stay at the Lace Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel had an unmanned reception however 1 press of the call bell and someone arrived very quickly. The room was very small (Room 9 on the 2nd Floor) it had twin beds pushed together however I... This hotel was a fantastic little stop on our way around europe in a GREAT location close to everything. Our room was small but had everything we needed as we were out most of the day. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull. We have found memories of Bruges.

Where to start? My girlfriend and me stayed at the Lace hotel and expected a friendly and quiet stay. I tried to get in contact with them beforehand to check whether they offer a parking opportunity. No reply. When we arrived (at 6pm) nobody was at the reception and we had to wait. Then the guy explained us our room... More

Me and my wife stayed here for a weekend away and was amazed at how bad this hotel was.. No double bed. No bedside table. Bathroom was disgusting. Very annoyed that this hotel was nothing like the photos shown and not a 3 star hotel. Very noisy and wasn't the cheapest hotel I found. I advise people NOT to stay... More

We stayed here in Mid may. There was a bit of noise from the restaurants and bars below, but it wasn't too loud. Location was great, walking distance to all major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good value in Bruges.
