We have visited here before (twice before), and can honestly say, it hasn't changed a bit. The owners had changed and redecorated the hotel, but they were as friendly and helpful as before. Our last visit being nearly six years ago. Would certainly recommend and should we go again would look to book here first. more

Had to agree with the other comments probably not the hotel's fault but we had the same problem of noise. We had teenagers outside the hotel until 5.30 in the morning on motorbikes, and on the last morning we stayed they were moving furniture in the bar below at 4.30 in the morning, not the best start to a return... more

Hotel De Markies is situated very convenient in the centre of Brugge. The rooms are clean, the bed is Ok but sleeping is out of the question. It was very hot so we had to open the windows and what we did not know was that the hotel was also situated in the middle of the party zone of Brugge...... more
