Three very good reason to stay here: Location (central location with lovely views. An easy walk to the town centre and car park nearby) The Staff (just plain friendly, helpful and went that extra bit for us to make the stay fun) The ambiance (one of the most charming dinning rooms it has been my good fortune to visit) If... The location of this hotel is perfect. However, the hotel itself is old. It was built in the 1600's. It doesn't have A/C and the rooms are outdated. It appears they were updated decades ago. And when we asked reception for a fan (because they room did not have one) they gave us a desk (tiny) fan. We honestly believe... More

The hotel is in the best place to be in Bruges. In the center of everything you want to see and do. The only problem is the hotels shower system does not live up to a shower at all. If taking a shower means sitting in a bathtub. Then guess what its not a shower. My husband refused to get... More

Given the fact that they are in a prime tourist location and take tour groups it was a slightly surprisingly good evening. The overworked staff (and too few) try incredibly hard and the food was very good. Went with rather low expectations and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. But don't chose the inclusive wine deal. Very poor value.

This hotel is located in the heart of the old town. Rooms overlook a pretty square with numerous restaurants, other rooms overlook the busy canal. Our room on the first floor overlooked the square which had two big windows. The room was very large with table and chairs and a 3 seater settee. The bathroom was big as well. The... More

Wonderful establishment. Charming, quiet and cozy. The restaurant is absolutely whimsically adorable! Make sure to ask for a table overlooking the river! The lobster stew was fantastic, as we're the desserts and coffee. Bathrooms are upstairs.

I don't like being negative, so I'll start with the positives: - Breakfast was excellent - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh pastries and freshly cooked boiled eggs. - Good wifi reception downstairs, and you could get it upstairs by connecting to another local free hotspot. - Great location for exploring the area - Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful on check-in.... This is a beautiful small hotel, with a nice staff. It was as we came into a family, and lived with them for the ten day. Nice and clean rooms. The breakfast was not of this big one. The table was ready for us every morning with orangejuice and egg and whatever you need for the breakfast. Outside, in the... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2015

On the recommendation of a friend who knows his way around the world went to this Hotel for a meal on a Sunday evening whilst visiting Bruges over a long weekend. Restaurant seemed fairly busy but there were only two people apparently on duty, a waitress and a lady who seemed to spend most of her time just preparing drinks... More
