The hotel sits right on the canal with the best view in Bruges. Booked a junior suite canal view room.. and had 5 big windows that you can open out and sit on window wil just looking out at the swans and pretty buildings & rooftops. Highly recommend room 5 - the whole corner above the restuarant is this room... More

If you are looking for a cozy traditional hotel furnished with a different classic style than new hotel, this is the one to stay. Even though it is in an old building, the room is very clean. A very small hotel with good breakfast and a nice restaurant for dinner. Wifi is weak and we were not able to connect... More

The location of this hotel is faultless, if you want a central hotel that's in a great location you really couldn't pick a better spot. It's right on the canal with stunning views of the belfry, and all lit up at night. However, what really lets this place down is the decor (although having said that, if they did it... More

As long as you can manage stairs, this hotel is in a great location. Ask for a room on the first floor, these overlook the canal and are lovely. The hotel's continental breakfast offers lots of choice in the restaurant overlooking two canals. All the staff were helpful and friendly and although the decor and fittings could do with an... It's hard to begin describing the stay we had. What a beautiful hotel in such a romantic place, and so close to everything. Sometimes we just stared out the window the view was so lovely. The hotel operators were lovely, and prepared a beautiful breakfast in the restaurant for us in the morning. The rooms are older but charming, and... More

We have now stayed in this hotel twice with friends so have experienced 4 different rooms. Our first stay we had rooms on the first floor which were fabulous ( 2 & 5 think) with 1 overlooking the canal and the other the square. On our most recent visit we had rooms on the 2nd floor. Although nice rooms they... More

As people have mentioned, this hotel has a "faded elegance", verging on run down in places. On the other hand, the location is perfect, the people working there are very helpful, and it's nice to be in such an old, classic place even if it is showing its age. The bathroom was large and modern but the shower had some... More

This was no doubt once a magnificent hotel, but now is tired and run down. The location is perfect, but that's about all that is. Four lights in our room were not working; the carpet on the stairs is faded, worn and lifting at the edges; the room needed a facelift, as did the public areas; the WiFi was intermittent,... More

This is a cozy, old, charming hotel. With a pricy, "special occasion" restaurant menu. There is no elevator, so plan on carrying your bags up at least one or two flights of stairs. The wifi is only in the lobby and not at all in the breakfast area of the restaurant. Evidently dogs are welcome in the restaurant (not to... More

Friendly hotel with helpful staff Incredible location and fine dinning. It should get, I believe, a small refurbishing in the rooms and a more powerful Wi Fi . small improvements can lead to a really cozy place in Brugges
