We stayed here on Saturday 20th September and when we turned up and saw the hotel we were amazed that it was where we were staying! It is the most photographed hotel in Brugge and is in the centre on the canal. I only needed one night here as I had already booked a barge hotel for the Sunday. I... More

From the perfect location to our romantic and spacious canal view-room (#5) we adored this hotel. All staff were eager to assist and very friendly. The dining room was lovely and the view was phenomenal! Bruges was an absolute fairy tale, and we were very pleased with our accommodations. Older carpet and bathrooms didn't bother us at all. We will... More

As previous reviewers have said, the location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Right the heart of Bruges, and probably at the most photographed spot. We had a suite with a canal view, so I can only comment on that room, but it was pretty amazing. The views were incredible, and it was exactly what we were looking for. I... More

We loved our stay at this hotel. Helpful staff. Dining/breakfast room is beautiful and breakfast was delicious! Less than 5 min walk from old town center. Easy to take bus to/from train station and walk to hotel. Our room was number 11 on the top floor View was overlooking canal and other old, beautiful buildings. A bit small and the... More

I stayed here one night before I went on a week long cycling trip in Belgium and the Netherlands. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bruges. It's a bit threadbare around the edges but more than makes up for it in charm and hospitality. If definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on one of several visits to Brugges. This was our most memorable because of the experience of seeing the lobby and restaurant area of this family inn. There are only about 20 rooms in this inn and staying in them are like being at home. The room was cozy and great for... More

This is a very nice but very old looking and feeling hotel (which is awesome if you're looking for that kind of experience which we were). The location is AMAZING since we literally didn't walk further than 15 minutes to get to any destination. It was close to a lot of hidden gem bars/restaurants like le trappiste, cafe rose red,... My wife and I stayed here from 28th July to 31 July 2014 with another couple and we were very impressed, everything about it was good. I don't understand how people are writing bad reviews as i'v just been there and couldn't fault it, very friendly staff, amazing breakfast, atmosphere great and room was very comfortable and cozy. the Wifi... This hotel is packed full of history and character, in an excellent location right on the canal but offers excellent value for money. Small enough to feel like a family-run hotel The Duc de Bourgogne offers a range of individual rooms with a variety of canal and market square views. Being on the canal with bars opposite we were afraid... More
