From the outside you would never know that the restaurant sits alongside the canal. The huge windows provide great views and you can see the bell tower in the background. Initially we were sat slightly further into the dining area but later in the evening we were invited to move as other guests had left and took prime spot with... More

We spent Christmas in Bruges at this Hotel and what a fantastic Christmas it was. While the rooms are small and a bit dated they are fine for travellers (even this old snob!) the staff make this hotel though, there is the loveliest lady whom i think owns the hotel who makes you feel so very special and welcome whilst... Undoubtedly the best hotel in town. Please stay here if u are here. It's a small boutique hotel . The room I got was fantastic. Room number 4. I have not stayed in a bigger room in Europe. It was a view to die for. The hotel has an iconic location. People click pictures of this location. The Bruges postcards... More

Pleasant: staff were friendly, lovely buffet breakfast. Views from the dining room made the stay very worthwhile. the room needed to be refurbished - there were torn bedcovers, the carpet was partly threadbare, and the room was quite noisy .

We went here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary only last night (23rd May 2015) whilst in Bruges for the weekend. This is a lovely restaurant, with a great atmosphere and great service right on the canal so views are lovely too. A very romantic, little hideaway much enjoyed. Thank you to the staff as it made a special time... More

I picked this because of its location on the canals of Bruges and because it had a highly regarded restaurant. We were NOT disappointed. Our room #4 opened out to the canal and we could watch the changing colors of the sky as the sun set and hear the bells of the churches. It also is next to canal tour... More

Hotel is in a good location and within easy walking distance of Market Square and shops. Rooms are clean but they need updating, Beds were uncomfortable and well worn with a big dip in the middle. Reading other reviews feel that perhaps we just got unlucky with our room but based on our experience we would not stay here again.

We loved this hotel for its central location, right on one of the canals and a 2 minute walk from the main square. Our room was on the second floor and in the eaves of the hotel. It was clean and although small it did have a view of the canal. The hotel staff were all very friendly and spoke... More

We have visited Bruges several times over the past few years. However, this time it was for only a one night stay on our way back home. This hotel's main advantage is its location. Within several minutes' walking distance of the main attractions and with lovely views over the canal from some of the bedrooms of which we had one.... More

We were pleasantly surprised or our expectations were low because we overall liked it and would stay again . Parking was the only issue. there is none. You cant even pull up to the front door to unload. There is a under ground parking garage a block away and is only 8 euro a day. Call to get the info... More
