We spent 8 days at the Hotel Erasmus. Everything was wonderful! The staff was very accommodating, the food was superb, and the location couldn't have been better. Our room was clean, bright, and spacious. Whenever we return to Bruges, we will stay at Hotel Erasmus. more

The perfect central location right in the center and a short walk to the main square & sites, which was very important to us as we were only in town for 2 nights and wanted to see and do all we could. All the basic modern clean facilities (elevator, bathtub with shower in a large bathroom, comfortable good beds) --... more

Some friends and I used this hotel for just one night. We arrived on cycles and had been specifically told by Tom, the manager, there would be somewhere to store them. On arrival Tom was not there and his representative told us there was no indoor space and we ended up locking them to railings outside, not very secure for... more

Really enjoyed our stay. We stayed here in June of 2007. Family of 4 - me, my wife and 2 sons ages 11 and 7. Stayed in one room that accommodated all of us that was very clean and well kept. We were able to stay in the back of the hotel with a great view of the canal. Within... more

We took advantage of a spring special that was being offered and this was a GREAT deal with a nice hotel. The location was convenient to everything and off of the main square and quiet. The staff was friendly and there was a lift so that made it easy to get our bags up to the third level. The room... more

We experienced our Erasmus as a well located and nice hotel. Very friendly staff, nice room, great bathroom and good breakfast. We experienced some troubles with the heating and one of the beds, both were solved fast. Only remark is the beds: we had two seperate beds, which were (too) small and (too) hard for us. Nevertheless a recommendation! more

This family-run inn has extreme proximity to tons of restaurants, shops, and a one minute walk to main square. The owners are always on hand and have a very elegant restaurant with about a dozen local beers on-tap. On our last day they even gave us bills in exchange for our change so we could exchange the bills before coming... more

We are a retired couple; one of us uses a manual wheelchair. The manager, Tom, was helpful and honest when we contacted the hotel to confirm suitability - there are no specifically adapted rooms, but he was aware of the issues and recommended a room, which was very clean and comfortable with a canal view. Best to enquire individually as... more

We were two female florists visiting on business and pleasure for 3 nights. I had stumbled on the hotel via various links and was so glad to have. The reviews were good, and it lived up to everything everyone says. The place is absolutely spotless, the maid works very hard within this hotel as do the waiting staff, who are... more
