Stayed in this hotel in April 2014, the location is superb - less than ten minutes walk to the central square. The hotel is very quirky, which we liked, and has many interesting features that tell you about the history and culture of this country. The rooms are of a decent size and it was very quiet during the night.... More

Very well priced considering the location. The rooms were lovely and the decor was quirky and charming. The landlady was incredibly polite and accommodating. More than happy to serve us breakfast when we arrived at 1 minute before breakfast was due to close.

Only spend a night in this charming hotel for our short weekend break. Surprisingly was very good. The hotel entrance was quiet an entrance. Reception (salon) was very nice old interior. Our room was big enough for us and also the bathroom. The owner (Hans) was very nice & knows everything you need to know about Bruges. He suggested us... More

I will happily stay here again. Lovely breakfast, though the coffee is typical of Belgian coffee! The room I stayed in was a little cramped, though functional and clean. Two people staying in the room I did might find a few problems. Bathroom is very cramped, but clean and functional. Lovely, quiet area of the city (excluding the occasional party... More

This really nice hotel is about 3 minutes from the main square in a very silent area of Bruges. It is run by a kind and old couple able to speak English as well. They gave us all the info about Bruges and allowed us to leave our luggage there for almost all the day after the check out. The... More

We completely enjoyed this gem in Bruges. It is a family run operation done for the love of it and it shows from the first greeting on to the nice European-style breakfast, to the toys in the lounge, the period furnishings, and the comfortable room. Would gladly stay there again.

Hotel is well situated, close to town. The hotel is an old Italian consulate, hence the name and is furnished accordingly. Our room faced the street but was reasonably quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the owners are lovely, very helpful, interesting and knowledgeable. Probably not as flash as a big hotel but much more of... More

Hote Lucca is less than 5 mins walking from the main square and in the city centre, so you can walk everywhere from there. The building is amazing and you can experience the history of it, especially in the breakfast room. Brekafast is good, with croissants, cereals, breads and different meats and cheeses. Coffee, teas and orange juice available as... More

This was the only hotel in the center of town that was willing to take a reservation for only one night. We had a double room on the first floor (# 19) and a family room for four (#20) on the second floor. Our children (young adults) with their partners shared this room (one double bed and two singles) without... More

The hotel was charming and fit right in with the medieval character of Bruges. Rooms were large and comfortable with renovated bathrooms. Breakfast room is beautiful and food was ample - typical European breakfast with juice, yogurt, cheese, meat, boiled eggs and assorted breads. Great location, friendly and helpful owners, reasonable rates.
