Me, my girlfriend and our two friends decided to go on a romantic weekend away to Bruges and fell in love with the idea of this beautiful country house and its picture-esk rooms. The photo's definitely live up to themselves and the rooms were a quirky, unique and romantic experience. There is no locks on the doors which was a... More

Beautifull old place with lots of warm atmosphere. Owners are helpfull and very friendly. We stayed in the two rooms appartment with lots of space and own bathroom. In the evening sitting in the livingroom with a nice fireplace (the owner lits it for you) and a Belgium beer (enough choice out of 10 beers, wines, soda or other drinks).... More

Nice, authentic 18th century farm building. We had the family room, which means a double bed downstairs, and further bed(s) - we only used one - up the rather steep stairs to the upper floor, with the bathroom half way up the stairs (mind your head when entering the bathroom - the door is not very high). Even though this... More

This place has everything: great location, nearby one the prettiest villages in Flanders, proximity to Brugge, to Ostend, to Knokke-Heist, to thousands of great places to drink and eat. And it's a wonderful old farm, beatifully and tastefully renovated, located in the middle of the countryside, a real treat. But first and foremost: it's run by Axel and Guy Carpentier,... More

The owners Axel and Guy have added a charm to their home both by the tasteful decoration, which lends the place a very authentic feel, as by their own welcoming and engaging presence. We could really relax here: the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. At the same time it’s an ideal base to take trips to Bruges or the... More

Very highly recommended. Great rooms. Good food. Short cycle to Bruges from countryside. Near Damme which is a wonderful place to visit. You must rent bikes if you go. Great cycle rides. Great boat trip down canal from Damme to Bruges too. I will definitely return. This is a gem of a place

We were lucky to fall upon this gem. The owners Axel and Guy Carpentier are charming, engaging and welcoming individuals who are fluent in at least three 3 languages we know of. Visit their website and all the images you will see are the real thing. The rooms, the service and breakfast were all impeccable. This manor offers 4 superbly... More

Pronkenburg is a wonderful place to be. So wonderful in fact that you do not wish to share it with anyone else. But that would indeed sell the gracious host and hostess short. If you enjoy beauty, serenity and kindness, this is the place to be. A Petit Paradise.

A phantastic place, an old flamish farm house, renovated with passion and a good feeling for special atmospheres, surprising and comfortable; all rooms in different style, you can stay and travel around the world. Charming living with a large table and a phantastic fireplace for all guests. A real place, with a lot of space for dreams, thoughts, feelings and... More
