I put a question mark after this title, because this is the only B&B I've experienced in Belgium; however, it is difficult to imagine a better B&B experience. This beautiful canal-side home in Bruges is on the register of historic places. My husband and I stayed two nights in the "Black and White" room, overlooking a lovely back garden. We... More

Right on the canal, convenient location and spacious accommodations, but very personal because it is a guesthouse (B&B for Americans). Luc is a very attentive, but not intrusive, host who is genuinely interested in people and places they come from, as well as a good source of information.

if you're going to Bruges, Belgium you'll never find a better B&B than Sint Andries Cruyse. Luc, the owner and host, is the nicest gentleman you'll every meet. We cannot say enough kind things about Luc. This man runs a simply outstanding B&B. We had one of the 2nd floor rooms overlooking the canal. The room was huge with two... More

This was just a great place to stay and I would go back here time and time again if I had that luxury. The list of things wonderful about this place is LONG, so let's just get the few cautionary notes out of the way: the circular stairs are steeps and narrow, you may be sharing a toilet room with... My wife and I stayed at Sint Andries Cruyse for one night (June 9) and had a wonderful stay. I can't say enough about how accommodating Luc was during our stay. In May/June we travelled for 35 days and stayed at 12 to 14 different locations. Luc was by far the most accommodating host of them all. He picked us... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gastenhuis Sint Adries Cruyse. Our host, Luc, met us at the train station and gave us a little tour of the city on our way to the house. Our accommodations were spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. There is a small refrigerator in the breakfast room with... More

Our family room was huge and beautifully decorated. We did have to use the bathroom in the hall, however, it included a shower my kids were terribly excited about - one that sprays from all sides. I believe we shared it with one other room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the breakfast room was light and pleasant. We... More

Luc,the host was eager to please and his breakfast was a treat!Fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, freshly baked goods and plenty of coffe. We arrived at the middle of the night and Luc was still welcoming us with a smile. The building is a historic townhouse, full of character, right on the canal,at the heart of the city. Most confortable bed,we ever enjoyed.

Luc picked my two daughters and I up rather late at the train station, welcomed us, then showed us some city landmarks on the way back to his home. Gave us a tour of the home and oriented us to the shared bathroom and shower and our lovely room. He then offered a late night snack and drink and asked... More

We missed the B&B the first time down the street. It's on a canal with a one-way street - just go slowly or make another pass around the block if you miss it. We had arranged for our car to be parked in the on-site garage, but it was a bit too long so we were obliged to pay for... More
