Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Elegant, contemporary accommodation situated 10 minutes from the City centre. If you like your breakfast in a traditional breakfast room then this might not be for you. Breakfast is allocated by room on trays on the first floor landing. There is a good buffet that supplements the croissants and coffee machines with pods in the... More

From the first second you arrive into this oasis of tranquillity you will feel totally at home, this beautifully restored old building, 2 minutes walk to the famous market square in the centre of Bruges is obviously the pride and joy of it's owner and this is evident in the perfect service and attention to detail. Rooms are spacious and... More

It's a nice old building and we had a big room which was nicely decorated but there was NO SOUNDPROOFING even tough it stated it on the details section when we booked. This meant we could hear music coming from either below us or next door, we could hear voices through the cracks in the flooring too and anytime anyone... More

Firstly, there is an ambiguity as to whether you are booking the Zakske B&B or the Oude Zak B&B. If you want the more traditional B&B with ornate staircase/stain glass etc., you will want to book the OudeZak B&B (Smaller 4 room B&B). If you want a more contemporary styled room and entrance, it would seem the Zakske B&B (Larger,... More

This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed. The decor is extremely stylish, the rooms are huge and the owner (Thierry) is a true gentleman. We stayed here for 2 nights for my wife's 30th birthday and we were extremely impressed. We used the B&B as a base to explore Bruges and it was perfect - 5-10... More

We had a wonderful stay! It is a beautifully designed B&B with high quality furniture and finishes. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Bed is comfortable. We were in the smaller room, which was still plenty of space for us. There is no air/con, but at night we kept the windows open which was comfortable. I would just bring eye... More

This was one of the very best experiences we have had at a bed and breakfast. The former historic factory building was lovingly and beautifully restored and renovated into a world-class bed and breakfast. The rooms are huge in size with comfortable bedding, high ceilings, private baths, coffee station with gourmet coffee and incredibly fast, secure, high speed WiFi. The... More

Perfect. Clean, tastefully modern, comfortable bed, large windows, spacious, secure room. This B&B surpassed my expections. I got a warm welcome with a detailed explanation of the amenities and how breakfast is laid out for in-room dining, and even a quick overview of some sights to see with notes on the map! A quick walk to the Markt, a center... More

I stayed in this Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights with my husband in June. It was just lovely. The room was huge and had a lovely unfussy minimal design but retained all the architectural details from the original building. The rooms had tea and nespresso coffee machines and there was a supply of sweets and chocolates on the landing.... More

We stayed here for a two night stay in the very big room number 3. The building is very special, with high ceilings and beautiful detailing. The celling roses in the main down stairs rooms are unique and presume original. Wonderful stained glass window of St Jacob on the main landing. The room itself is very spacious and minimal, very...
