My, oh, my. What a beautiful place Huis't Schaep is. John is your host and a wonderful one at that. The rooms are HUGE, clean and above all else, beautiful. Breakfast is a feast. Fresh yoghurt is offered, with pastries, tea/coffee, fresh fruit, a choice of omelette and/or bacon and eggs. There is no limit to what you can eat.... More

Absolutely outstanding in every way: from our perfectly lovely room to the delicious breakfast to the most charming hosts we've ever met. The property is on a quiet street close to sights without the crowds, the home itself is elegant, filled with beautiful things and yet it is welcoming and comfortable. The room itself was spacious and impeccably decorated with... More

We stayed two nights in the Renoir suite. Very spacious, great bathroom and shower, comfortable bed. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Our host was extremely helpful in booking tables for dinner and making suggestions of what to see in the town. He also gave us interesting historical info about the home, as my husband is quite the... More

Charming and helpful host, fascinating historic building, luxurious bedroom suite (we were in Rubens Suite). Breakfast was delicious. Superb location for strolling around Old Brugge. Overall a wonderful visit, and we will return.

Stayed in the beautifully decorated and spacious Rembrandt suite. Huis 't Schaep is perfectly located in a quiet street but a few minutes walk from the centre. Gorgeous breakfast and John couldn't have been more helpful & informative. Recommended local restaurants & indeed booked a table for us - all excellent. Can only agree with all the other comments made... More

This ideally located B&B was wonderful in every way (as long as you can handle the stairs). We had one of the more modest rooms, but it was still a luxury experience with a large room and lovely bathroom. The breakfast is excellent and is served by the owner with grace and wit, as he helps with any touring plans... More

This is the best B&B that we have ever stayed in!! The restoration of this house is wonderful and reflects an understated sense of elegance and luxury. The owners' attention to detail is very evident in the room(Coucke suite) with great bedding and bathroom. John, one of the hosts, was so friendly and informative and serves up a really wonderful breakfast... More

A wonderful find. A stunning building full of character, charm and history just minutes away from the centre. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms and a wealth of antiques and curios. The host made me very welcome and was extremely helpful. I recommend this B&B without hesitation.
