Stayed for one night as a surprise for my wife's 50th. We both loved it. What a wonderful, interesting and peaceful place to stay in the heart of beautiful Bruges. it was like staying in a museum, with stained glass and antique furniture everywhere. Our room was enormous and very comfortable. Wish we had booked more than the one night,... More

Stayed here for three nights and loved it. The location was perfect for us – a short walk from the major sites but off the beaten path a bit. The neighborhood felt more local and less touristy than most parts of town. We walked from the train station. It was a moderate walk with luggage and took us about 15... More

We booked the Couke suite for 1 night and Michael nicely helped me out with making a little surprise for my fiance as we just got engaged including an 'i love you' note, lovely bavarois cakes & complementary cava in the room! We were welcomed warmly and given a brief introduction to Bruges and the main highlights with helpful tips... More

From the communication prior to our arrival to Michael's informative greeting when we arrived to the fantastic room and attention to detail in terms of service - I simply cannot praise this establishment enough. If you're staying within the centre of Bruges then you get used to any establishment having a great location but given that we were here for... More

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at Huis't Shaep in lat November, along with our 7 month old daughter. The room we stayed in (Rubens suite) was large, comfortable and very characterful. Best of all, the owners were so accommodating and helpful with our baby daughter, happy to help provide items for her breakfast and even baby... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Renoir room. We were so spoiled by Michael & Nazia. They prepared a fabulous feast for breakfast each morning. We had freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs prepared to order, ham or salmon, yogurt, assorted fresh breads and pastries. Yummy! Our room was so spacious with a large bathroom and shower.... More

Had a fantastic stay at Huis 't Schaep, a beautifully restored medieval building with plenty of original C19th features. It's centrally located on a lovely quiet street close the Dijver and the Markt. Michael and his family were so friendly, attentive and helpful from the moment we arrived. He made us feel so welcome and made sure everything was taken... More

We stayed for one night only in the Rembrandt Suite, booking quite late and securing a discounted rate of Euros148. At this price we thought Huis t'Schaep excellent value. Bedroom was large, comfortable and nicely furnished. Bathroom excellent. In addition separate sitting room. Electric panel radiators clicked on and off through the night but not a huge issue. My wife... More

Everything about this B and B is spot on. The rooms, the owner, the location and the breakfast. Michael was helpful and thoughtful, wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return, soon I hope!

My daughter and I spent one night at this small bed-and-breakfast. It was close to everything and the innkeeper was very friendly. Our room was large and comfortable with a charming view from two large windows. Breakfast was excellent, and served in an adorable little room. Our only complaint would be that the room was kind of dim -- would... More
