We have just returned from a 2 night stay with Ginette and Patrick, and had the best time! We were very loathe to leave, as we were treated like family members. Ginette's breakfasts (and offer of making a picnic lunch with what was not eaten!) were delicious and extremely generous. We were overwhelmed with her kindness and sincerity, and would... More

We stayed here during a holiday weekend and would have loved to stay longer. The hosts Ginette and her husband are very warm, friendly, and generous in helping any way they can. Each of the spacious rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well furnished with a charming decor. The morning breakfast was plentiful and meticulously prepared with love. Getting to... More

Have stayed in Bruges before, in small hotels, but this time chose De Vijf Zuilen. What a wonderful holiday experience. Ginette welcomed us warmly and we felt immediately at home in the house. The welcome drink and chat about Bruges were great - found out some things we didn't know, and Ginette gave us lots of useful information. We had... More

My wife and I had never visited Bruges before, so we looked forward to spending several days exploring the beautiful city. Therefore, we felt like we needed an accommodation that would suffice for at least two days, that was close to the city (within walking distance) and that offered free safe parking. We found those things and more at this... More

We stayed here for a weekend while in bruge. The host is very sweet and speaks English. Room is clean and warm. Spacious room. Good continental breakfast with salmon on toast, croissants, pudding, and cheeses/fruits. Beer on site and safe parking. Bus station 3 minute walk.

We were sorry only to stay here for one night - the most incredible B&B we have ever stayed in! We had the Majestic room, and it definitely lived up to its name. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, from the snack provided on arrival through to the breakfast next morning, the likes of which we have never seen... More

There seems to be a high level of competition for hospitality in Bruges, with a lot of highly recommended guest houses. The swaying points for us when booking were that parking is off road and free. We were greeted with a free beer and chat, complete with map and explanation of Bruges attractions! The room was one of the deluxe... More

B&B De Vijf Zuilen is a lovely little B&B on the outskirts of Brugge. Ginette and Patrick (the owners) are extremely accommodating. Upon arrival, Ginette takes the time to provide you with a map and relevant brochures, then highlights the areas of interest. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the wifi reception is excellent. Patrick rents bicycles and he graciously... More

Very friendly with warm helpful welcome. Decor is quirky but hosts are brilliant. Was still eating breakfast at lunch as we were invited to pack what breakfast we did not eat. 30 minute walk to centre of Bruges but benefit is that has own parking and quiet location.
