I stayed at this fabulous B&B in August. It was perfect. I had the Jr. Suite which was located on the first floor. The room was just renovated this year and absolutely perfect. The room rate includes breakfast each day which was always wonderful. An extra special surprise is that on weekends you can dine with Benny in his home... More

This exclusive B&B just keeps on getting better and better. Our first visit since the update of the Junior suite on the ground floor and what a wonderful job Benny has done. We will be back in the spring and already counting the days, thanks again Benny and Paul for being such great hosts and serving the best breakfast in... More

I have just returned from a weekend in Bruges celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday, where we stayed at Bariseele. It is small (3 rooms) but perfectly formed and Benny is a very warm and welcoming host. The breakfasts are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Benny has a wealth of local knowledge which he willingly shares to ensure... More

We were here in July and found it a lovely accommodation a short walk from the town center. We stayed in the downstairs room and at first worried that it would be noisy or we would feel a lack of privacy, given the large windows. But it was a quiet area and the etched windows and window treatment were fine.... More

If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Bruges that is a stones throw from the centre yet has the peace and tranquillity of a rural idyll you should look no further than this totally unique B&B. Benny, the owner, will greet you with genuine warmth and give you all the information you could ever need about this... More

A stone's throw from the center there is this strange B & B that shares its history and the building with two adjoining hotels. Huge room and very bright and quiet, bathroom small but clean. There is also the possibility to use a small kitchen. The breakfast was plentiful: it is left in a coffee table out of the room... More

Totally enjoyable accommodations and host. Drinks in the refrigerator are very reasonable priced and the breakfast variety was prefect for us. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby that definitely have a local feel to them and are quite enjoyable. And the location could not be better, a quiet area and only a short walk from 'downtown'.

About 15 minute easy walk to downtown sights; neighborhood was residential, used to be blue collar. Had 2nd floor room (friends took 3rd floor) and loved it. Roomy, quiet -- except for the church bells ringing 15 minutes early Sunday evening to remind people of last Mass of the day -- clean and very restful. Small kitchen & stocked mini-fridge... More

This was my first stay in Europe after living in London for 2 months. I wanted something authentic, not too close to the city center to avoid tourist traps, and hopefully as charming as the city. I stayed in November 2012, and it was already cold but not freezing. We arrived via train from London, connecting in Brussels, and then... More

As I was taking the train from Bruges to Brussels, I was thinking of something to write about Bennie’s B&B. I told him that it would be informative but also humorous (if you’ve read some of my pieces you’ll know where this goes). See if you can figure this tune out. Hey kids, welcome here to Bruges Bennie will give... More
