The hotel, at a quiet place in the city centre, is a transformation of one (or more?) older houses. My room at the top floor (called Jeremiah) was a tiny suite with four different small parts: bedroom, sitting corner, toilet, and bathroom. Everything was perfect for me on my own, though the bedroom might have been somewhat small for a... More

Stayed at the this beautiful, warm, welcoming, hotel for two weeks. it is right in the heart of the univeristy area and less that a 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which runs to the bus and train station Peter was the perfect host, the room (ensuite) was lovely, clean and tidy. Tea and coffee making facilites provided... More

We always try different places to stay as a break in our journey to Germany, this will be a regular stopover. The owner Peter is a fantastic host in a charming hotel, the room we had was more like a small suite, with a large bedroom, small lounge and a huge bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice.... More

This is a lovely place to stay. It's in the heart of the historical centre, on a small quiet street. The owner Peter suggested that we take a room at the back of the property as the students can make quite a lot of noise at night. The room was comfortable and we slept well each night. A nice touch... More

Charming place with lovely appointments. Would be rating of 5 but for the bed being a little uncomfortable. Leuven is a university town so the noise at night time and through the night is a big problem. Ask for a room at the back of the building. Great location, near to restaurants, sights etc.

By chance, I booked last year accommodation in Leuven in the hotel De Pastorij (found at the Booking.com) and it was so pleasant surprise that I stayed in the same hotel again this year. It is a very small hotel (7 rooms), Peter (the owner) is a very friendly man and takes care both on the hotel and on the... More

After spending four nights at Gasthof De Pastorij I think a breakfast prepared by the owner Peter Du Breuil should be in "Top five attractions to do in Leuven..." Mostly it felt like we were staying at a friend's apartment in town and he was the super-nice next door neighbor helping us in any way you can imagine. I don't... More

We Stayed in Leuven for one night on our way into Europe. On our arrival the Hotel was locked up and no answer at the front door but it was quite early in the morning, but a quick phone call to Peter the owner was all that was needed and he came round to check us in and let us... More

Since our first stay here, 3 years ago, this was our place to stay for our yearly visit to Leuven ... and it will be so in the future. Peter is such a charming host, the breakfast was very very good, the B&B is ideally located in the city centre, the rooms are so cosy ... why would we stay... More

I chose this hotel as I was travelling alone on business and didn't want to stay in an impersonal larger hotel. Peter was extremely helpful and friendly, offering me advice on where to eat as a vegetarian, checking that the breakfasts were OK for me (they were great!) and printing off a walking map complete with photos when I needed...
